Right Im makeing this thread basically because everybody makes mistakes but by learning from these mistakes we become alot better no? Im sure all the pro's made mistakes before they were pro and some still make em when they have been pro's for years like going to luigi's mansion against a DK not gonna name em. '.; )

But yea this thread is not my idea alone i lurk on some of the other boards and i noticed they have one of these i think the lucarios got it from the marios and the marios got it offa samus and the samuses got from a guy called eric :S

But just to get the bomb outta the bag i'll go first.

When i started out in the competative side to brawl i lost ALOT and it was cause whenever i was at the very side of the stage with an opponent comeing for me id try to roll past em to get myself to the middle of the stage but when i did that they walked a couple of steps back and just destroyed me and i know what your thinking "well thats kinda stupid" yea it is -_-' but at first you dont realise you do it until somebody tells you that you do and when i went to a fest i made some friends who told me that pretty much everyone goes through all this stuff they just gotta be told that they are.

So there it is my thread pls add all your embarrassing and stupid experiences aswell as things you rlly dont like about our toon (but be warned you'll have to explain yourself) on this thread so no one does the same.

Right so heres the stupid and embarrassing stuff so far:

-Switching from toon link to some other char
-Being trigger happy with your zair
-Being Mr predictable
-Bad CP's
-DAIR SUICIDES

but still the seconding link thing is a good start, iv learnt 18 characters going back and forth but i still keep going to toon link

At my 4th tourney I used to zair ppl that were above me and floating lolzero'speach. >_>But I learned from that and never repeated that noobish mistake. I was also very predictable when getting up from the ledge I would always ledgehop and fair which made me get punished a lot. I learned to mix it up :). I also once got very predictable with zair which led to me being power shield grabbed everytime for it >_>. So I learned to use zair occasionally and perfectly spaced thanks to that. In my 6th tourney, I got planked by an mk and lost X_X. I learned from that and never let him get the lead now and beat that same mk in my last tourney. ;) In that same last tourney, I learned that CPing norfair against marth with tink is stupid. :(

ehh confessions....dont have any confidense in TL anymore. I dont consider him a main anymore. I consider him a secondary. and for him thats bad cuz then I wont use him anymore. Unless I got some motivation I wont use him unless I really want to or I wana totally sandbag you since my TL sucks.

At my first smashfest/tourney type thing I got last place on all brackets. =/ I guess it's cause I kind of feel a bit inferior since it was my first tourney. Hopefully I do better if I get to go next time.

Also, I have a habit of spiking too often. And when I'm really high in stock in a match, my suicide rate tends to increase a bit more. I almost never win matches because of suicides which is a problem I guess I need to work on. Not sure how I end up suiciding. I'd have to record all my sucky matches and figure out why =/

I think you'll get rid of that habit when you start getting punished for it every time you do it.

Also, TL's dair is more like a lead weight dropping to the ground than "bouncing around".

@copacetic when snake tech chases you try to mix it up for example first time he trys roll one side next time get up attack next time just stay there and wait for him to attack then roll and ofc roll the other way ^^.

But the problm is i suicide on the WORST moments. I do a gudd and long combo that deserves a dair at the end and i suicide lol. I hate it whn ur about to do it and it seems like they grabbed on the edge quicker than usaul.

Remember bigger opponents tho they are easier to hit have longer arms which equals faster ledge grab i find ice climbers the best to practice on mainly because there ladge grab range is still small but cause theres 2 its easier to hit em

I don't dair suicide too much when going for the spike, but every now and then when I'm nervous I'll drop off the ledge and try to nair and just not let go of down in time.

I also try to grab peach after every time I block a falling fair, even though it auto-cancels and she just jabs me first
