2v2...

Firstly, my friend and I have been playing ssbb for a while now, we're getting ok, and we've decided to start working on our 2v2s. My friend is pretty set on playing as Toon Link, and I'd like to find a character that plays well with Toon Link...

I'd assume someone heavier... Maybe a CG'er? I'm thinking maybe Bowser or DDD.

I 2V2 with my friend who is a Kirby main and we do pretty well, but mostly these days, teams have either a snake or a MK somewhere, so that's one option

It doesn't matter much on what character you use tho, it matters if you and your teammate can act both individually and together for team combos

I'm not a fan of playing as a snake or MK... I'd rather not play the cheap characters. (Although my main is Marth >.<).

But I'll probably try Marth and Toon Link, or maybe Pikachu and Toon Link (lolprojectile spam).

Any other input is wanted!

My 2v2 partner is Bengalsrz and he uses marth. Even though marth cant kill well either we still work well together.
