Yes, but obviously the the Hylian arc of Links gave way to the traditions of "way of the sword" (lol) that the Hyrulians cherished. The WW Link wore the clothes of an age-old hero as tribute to the one in the past which with his heroism and killing Ganon and stuffs.

So obviously Hylian is still the father of TL's metagame.
