footstools.. again

The last post I made was locked. IDK why... I was trying to get people to help me develop there. <,<
So since the post was closed I developed by myself. Here is TL's godly footstool.

bomb toss up> u-tilt> Bair (Bair does not true combo)> Bair grabs bomb> footstool> toss bomb down> draw new bomb> footstool when they combo back up from the explosion> toss new bomb down> footstool again> land because you go almost no where on the third footstool> dash attack> bomb> footstool> bomb> toss bomb down> Dair

The entire time you are tossing bombs down you are predicting a roll. That is.. unless you footstool them high enough.


That took some time to come up with. I call it the hard combo, cuz it made me hard and it is hard to do.....

did happen but I don't have an hour to prove my point. I have three threads to work on, a room to clean, a party to plan, friends will be over soon, I am still doing school and I'll be gone from about 7 am to about 9 pm tomorrow.

I main Sheik... which means I do a lot of improvising. This doesn't come close to the amout of thinking it takes to perform Saltus> Swan.




If you don't believe me then believe yourself.
Go into training and link Bair> footstool.
Go into training and throw a bomb up and catch it.
Go into training and do u-tilt> Bair> footstool.
Go into training and throw a bomb up> u-tilt> Bair (catch bomb)> footstool.
Go into training, throw bombs at people and footstool them.
Go into training, throw bombs, footstool, and repeat it while in the air and guess where someone would roll.
Go into training and mix this all together.


The formula for roll predicting.
they roll left (you see it so you throw a bomb there)
they roll right (you see it so you throw a bomb there)
they stay there waiting for a bomb (you throw a bomb down)
they get up when the bomb hits (hit them with a Bair and refootstool)
they get up attack (hit them with a Bair and refootstool))
they are footstooled high (you just throw a bomb down cuz they are not gonna have time to do anything)

If all else fails... just land while Bairing. You can either refootstool or arrow.



Pretty much... this is a tech chase on steroids.

You would have to strong toss the bomb up first of all...cause the 2 bairs in the beggining would have to be flawless...You bair your opponent correct then into another bair to catch the bomb and then foot stool after. If you caught the bomb you most likely short-hopped am I right? So how would you be on top of them to footstool? Also your oppenent would have been had time to roll out while you caught the bomb unless you Z-Caught the bomb...seriously this seems more like a sequence you made up in your head =/ sorry man it's irrelevant

no way you'd ever be able to pull out a bomb, throw it, and get above them again in time. Not to mention you'd have to be away from the bomb so you don't get hit by the explosion.

You would footstool after the Bair. It's a little known fact among all TL users that you can footstool after a Bair is used. lol j/k

Nah.. this is a sequence I made up through my pingas. It deals with TL raping peoplke on the ground while repeatedly jumping on them.

You should make a thread dealing with just footstools just like almost every other community. I didn't know that the list was where you are supposed to post new stuff. I figured that was simply a collection.

That was a 0-death example. As I have said before... the combo revolves around footstooling from bombs.

You pull out a bomb after the footstool.

Dash Attack jab locks and I think it forces a get up. Either way you would have enough time to either continue with a bomb directly or tech chase.

Meh... I'm used to the skeptical thing now. I have put up with it time to time. The only part is I look back and feel bad sometimes for slamming someone.

Well that'll work. (the rang coming back also locks)

If I wasn't making a guide on every jab lock and footstool then I wouldn't have worked on this. Normal Link has a footstool like this:
bomb throw down> footstool> jab lock across the stage> Charge Spin Attack and wait for them to get up (force get up)

Even if the whole thing is too hard to pull off I have no doubt that if done correctly, this would be pretty much unescapable. This sounds good i might practice it or do part of it but i probally won't be able to pull it off at tournaments unless i am packed full with mindgames.

Savior, your first topic was closed because you didn't discover anything new. I think I invented Bair into footstool Dair combo back in January.

This situation is much too ridiculous and unrealistic to be practical in a tournament enviornment. This might be cool to try out on a CPU in Training mode though. Otherwise, this isn't something that really contributes to the community and doesn't deserve it's own thread.
