I have not seen a thread or many posts about this move (the double shine) Also in match vids the double shine is not used that often. If I am correct the way to double shine is to shine on the ground followed by a jump canceled with shine right after. This move takes alot of speed to do. What are some uses for the double shine? variations? like a double shine thats delayed.
Im trying to put this move into my falco/fox but its hard and finding an opening after a shield is impossible. Just some tips on devolping this move would be great for many fox/flaco players maybe.

The double shine is mostly used by falco.
I use this for alot of my combos.Try Double shine into a ADA or another shine(mostlikely killing them).I try to do these combos while they are at low %s.

If you're to use it as Fox it should be more a defensive act than an attack IMO. With Falco try to use it more often if you expect close quarter combatants to dodge your first reflector. They will usually fall into the second instead. Sure you may not connect both but it lowers the chance of you being punished dramatically.
Try different moves after the reflectors such as air up A, Fire Bird or even Phantasm(it spikes back down)...you'd be surprised how underused Up and forward B moves are used by many Falco players. If you're good enough you can link the reflectorx2 with fair and land every hit for serious damage, also rarely used by most.
Of course if you're not bold enough to be different like me you could stick to the ref-ref-spike-L cancel-ref-ref-spike-L cancel combo that's used and abused by Falco everywhere.

Double reflector with Fox is useless and useful at the same time. Useless in that you have to be really fast to wd after the second one assuming it even hits, b/c it is possible to do it so fast the shield stun will no allow them to put down their shield so the second one will unintentionally get blocked. It's useful if you can time it enough so they will try to grab you or jump, but again you have to be really quick to wd after the second hit to combo. It's more of a defensive thing. If you are one of those people who jumps out of Fox's reflector and plays a safer game then use it, if you like to be more aggressive and risky then I wouldn't bother.
With Falco it's more of an offensive mindgame tactic. Since you could just jump and hit them out of the second one. But with both characters you don't want to get into the habit of double reflectoring all the time b/c people will catch on.

Oh, a shine is simply the common name for Falco's and Foxes' down B.
No one wants to saw infinite reflector combo or wavereflector.

So a double shine is mostly used when you assume your opponet is going to shield/grab you, hmm why not use the double shine anyway...unless falco's second jump is shorter or this reduces the speed of the combo.

Your statement qualifies as a question, so the answer is yes, and also to dowble hit the opponent to cause more stun and combo potential. Try it as Falco to juggle or as Fox against a wall. Note you can wavedash on the spot to leave way for the next ref....ie ref wd out on spot ref. wd out on spot etc. this builds damage pretty fast against most characters.

actually it is possible with falco to do a triple shine combo to a neutral arial. All u have to do is shine on the groud, jump out, shine again while in the air jump out again and then shine again after the last shine juump out to a neutral arial. I'v maneged to do it a few times. I just takes a lot of speed.

f5oox: What you jsut said would involve 3 jumps... Falco doesn't have three jumps. Do you mean that after the last shine you fall to the ground then jump and neutral a? If that's the case, I think I get what you're saying. Just need you to clarify!

Triple....ref.,jump1, ref.,jump2, ref...that's three.....follow with the Firebird IMO is better than nair(which would rarely hit if you hit with all three reflectors as they will be above you and Falco falls too fast...you would have to hold the last ref. for a short time, and even then floaty chars can jump&di away)

I think its possible to do an infinite shine with falco without the air dodge down because its possible to do an double shine and still have your first jump. This may be useful to infinite combo someone against a ceiling.
