g&w is not a bad low tier char or not bad in general. His moves have awsome hit blocks and effective smashes and his down tilt is god. His up smash is ****ing tender

I think his recovery is one of the best also

im pretty sure this has been said a few times...

hes so low on the tier list because hes very light, has a bad shield, useless roll, and several useless moves.

also, i really wouldnt recommend up smash unless you set up for it, otherwise up tilt is a much better option.

He's definitly Low Teir, Tiller.

Did you know that Bowser can kill him at 85%? Ganon rapes GaW, and most characters can juggle him out so he can't recover. or else they can edge hog -- he's notoriously vulnrable to that.

I've never had much of a problem with edgehoggers as G&W. His vertical recovery is so high it tends to negate edgehog.

me neither. If they are stupid to go too early you can always take advantage of the upB´s marth-like speed and hit them...
or just throw a sausage at the ledge before the firemanjump. Note this isn´t always possible because it cuts some of your recovery distance.

yea i starting to pick up g&w just to have a cool character..... i am allright but not that great. You really gotta get down l canceling to be real successful with him in my experience anyways. Some characters you might be able to get away with not l canceling all of your moves successfully.
