A cool trick

With Capt. Falcon, sometimes if you’re hanging on the edge, then you hold right on the stick (if you’re facing left) then cf automatically drops from the ledge then immediately wall jumps into the abyss. This could be like a surprise move used against people who don’t expect you in their face that fast, especially used in conjunction with the knee. :P

This mostly works on ledges that are vertically flat, like in fourside or something, though you might be able to do it in Final Destination if you're quick enough...

no im still confused is he talking about jumping off the edge->walljump because if he is how can u use the fair? I usually combine it with forward-b

The edges on MK1, MK2, Fourside, Green Greens, Peach's Castle, and Yoshi 64 all cause Falcon to wj immediately from hanging on the edge when you tap away from it. Falcon, in my experience, is the only character that has this capability, tho Samus might be able to on some of those stages as well. I find this quite useful at certain times. Mostly it's just important to know if you're playing a stage that it happens on so you know to do edge hopping just a little differently.

this is neat because you still have another jump after you walljump

a cool thing to do is to drop off and walljump, and then doublejump backwards immediately and do a b-air

I found this too but it's nothing new. It actually messes me up some time and it's sorta lucky that I don't die when I accidentely do it.

Yeah, sometimes while ledgehopping with a b/uair by pressing away from the level(which i hardly ever do; i use down to ledgehop) i hate it when he walljumps.
