Yes, you can pull off a shffl'd ADA->down-b for Doc, but it's not going to have the effect of immobilizing an opponent, immediately hitting them w/a move that has practically instantaneous startup time, pushing the opponent away a predetermined distance dependent on the character's traction, and then leaving the opponent stunned and therefore vulnerable to any number of combo options like Fox's shffl'd ADA->shine does.

Linking to the down-b isn't a great idea for a number of reasons: first, if the opponent happens to shield the shffl'd ADA and down-b, you'll be as vulnerable as a f-smashing Bowser, and duly punished. Second, the first hit of the down-b has no knockback or stun, meaning that the opponent can simply jab out of it, or up-b/jump+sex kick out of their shield. Finally, depending on the opponent's falling speed, the down-b can be easily DI'd out of.

Yeah, so shffl'd ADA->down-b isn't so great of an idea for Doc. . .linking it to a jab+d-smash, grab, or u-tilt instead of the down-b would be a better idea.
