Who can D.K chain throw? So far I have only been able to effectively chain throw Falco, Fox and C.Falcon without my opponent DI'ing/Sex Kicking/retaliating. Are there any others?

So far chain throwing these three seems to set up some very cool combo's for me, its a part of my game that I hadn't explored yet.

Also, if anyone is up for the challenge, try chain throwing the D-throw, I cant do it yet, but I've been trying on Marth. If you D-throw then do a grab cancelled dash attack you get soooo close to grabbing him before he can tech away, i think it may be possible, maybe with wavegrabbing or something else.

Hah hah, i did it! twice! I chain grabbed MArth with the D-throw. Okay fair enough it was a lvl 9 computer, so a human player will probably be able to DI away. But still, it has to do with using your dash attack at the right point of your dash then grab cancelling it to get the max range from your running grab, I hope I an get this to work all the time, or maybe this will be just one more of my failed DK techniques.......

right, it's just the gravity trio that you can chain throw up. you can down throw chain light characters (jiggly, kirby) IF they DI toward you, so it's not very useful.

a cool chain grab i like doing to cfalcon is at 0% grab cargo upthrow to uair and grab again and repeat accordingly. DKs chain grabs look too sexy.

How do you folllow up your chain grabs? I usually go for a back throw then start trying to b-air, or i try to start an u-air juggle and i've been thinking about maybe trying to use the upsmash as the combo finisher.

has anyone else tried to link the d-throw into a giant punch in a match? I had a lot of success with it at first (of course, once my friends figured out what i was doing they were able to get away) but it seems like it could catch people by surprise.

Again, if a light character DIs into you, you can do a punch out of a down throw. I did it to snex at a biweekly not too long ago. You can also do a headbanger out of it.

Headbanger? Is that the F-air? Or the F-b?

As far as i can tell, its impossible for floaty characters (like Marth) to escape a d-throw to dash attack, the trouble is that i'm not sure of any real combo chances from the dash attack cos it lag is so huge, maybe you could get an u-air in if you got lucky.

Headbanger is f-air.

And I really doubt that the dash attack is guaranteed, it seems he should be able to DI right out of it, or he'd hit the ground before you can touch him. Anyway you're right, there's really nothing you can do out of a dash attack.

I kinda like dash attack(mainly when people miss techs) cause it knocks them straight up setting up for DKs greatest attacks,(up air) and up air leads ot anything. even if people DI they are still knocked up so you can get with an up air(not granruteed).

You can juggle a CPU lvl nine falco all the way across final destination and back using the dash attack, and to an extent you can get a few off agianst a human, but its way risky, it looks very cool though, maybe something for TT's comedy vid?

i find it pretty fun to chain grab up against ff near the edge and just follow up with Uair or punch at low % just because it pawns:P
