could anyone give me some strategies that help in dealing with jigglypuff. i have been smashing for a while and it seems that jiggs has given me the most trouble or at least been the most annoying. so any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

A nice killer against a jiggly puff can be the usmash but if it is at the tip of her finger.

Yeah, I'd like to know about this too, being that jigglypuff is one of the few characters who can screw up Peach's ridiculous recovery. Well we all know projectiles mess the puff, and Peach has got the turnips. Also, her bair might be able to keep up with WoPing jigglypuff. I said might though.

I always try to keep both Peach and Jiggy on the ground. U can't stop Jiggy from jumping sometimes, but if u wait for them to attack you from the air and dodge, u can do a dsmash after they land, and if they stay in the air, just keep dodging. Peach can dominate on the ground, but in the air w/Jiggy, she's pretty much done for. If Jiggy goes high above you, don't chase, just fling turnips from below + get ready for it to come down, so u can usmash while its above u or dsmash after it lands.

One problem.

Puff punch. in air that thing has a long attack time and large hitbox!

good point... i guess u just have to roll out of the way when that happens. Since it has a long attack time, u can usually see it coming and roll to get out of the way. If u can roll out of the way, u can do the dash attack afterwards and follow it up w/a nice combo.

1. Spam those turnips.
2. Never ever dash attack Jigglypuff unless she's in the air.
3. Running dsmash is your friend.
4. Usmash after shielding attempted Pounds.
5. Do not try to compete with WoP. Back off and spam.

Jigglypuffs entire attack is based around aerial attacks. Just wait for him to make a move then dash attack. I find that patience beats a jiggly puff more easily than anything else. And if jiggs doesn't come after you, make him by pelting him with turnips.

Play defensive, Don't rush in, only let him come to you.

-Never try to overcome her aerial game, never.
-Don't make your recovery so open, they'll kick you back out.
-Alot of up Smash...
-And ultimate turnip-pelting :laugh:
-Be the most lethal downsmash b i t c h :P

Fsmash can occasionally work, but you can't follw up with anything and the frying pan is the only one that has decent KO.
