I've been trying this alot lately. It's very very very easy to shffl and it sends the foe down at very high speed. Nobody really would expect this as an edgeguard so it will be effective to pro players. Only con is that it's very hard to hit your foe but it's worth to practice I think. :psycho:

It doesn't have the greatest priority so most up B attacks just plow through it and timing often makes it tough to connect on an opponent trying to sweetspot.
It works decently on Fox/Flaco though since it will usually trade hits with their upB.

You can't SHFFL the f-b. It completely stops all vertical motion. This is an ok edgeguard against characters with bad vertical recovery as well, like Bowser. Just stand back a bit from the edge and it will hit with the curl.

The F-B is wierd. I wrote this big article on it when i first came to the boards its stil here somewhere.
The F-B is good for edgeguarding the space animals and gannon. People dont expect it so it catches them unawares. Try jumping out over the stage and hiting with it.

It is all about the timing and knowing priority but I think hittn em with the fully charged punch is more satisfying.

I personally prefer the dair spike.
You can shffl it on the edge, and if they meteor cancel you can follow up with a D tilt.
it just feels safer is all.
