Ive been playing with peach for a while now, and something that always comes up alot in threads is float canceling. Ive had it explained to me a few time, but im still not sure how to do it or to see if it is working. Can anyone tell me how to do it and how to practice it.

I think it is if you hit the ground while doing an air attack after floating, but im not sure

i would also like to ask a question about floating, attacking, and float canceling. I want to know what buttons most people use to float, attack, and float cancel. I am assuming that using y for floating would be great but then what about the c stick? I have also seen a common thing peach players do where they jump, throw a turnip, and then keep floating and try to fair. I would like to know the buttons they are pushing to do this.

This is kinda old, but should be good info. (http://rapidshare.de/files/15413413/Float_Cancelling_2.wmv.html)

I always use Z when I do floating attacks, and Y for jumping/floating. To float after throwing something, simply start holding your preferred float button during the throw.
