G&W=Worst Charecter for me in a 4-Player Melee...anyone agree?

I was playing a 4-Player Melee as Mr. Game & Watch and lost because they (2 on 2) had Mewtwo and Bowser and I can't remember who I had...

Anyways, I find Mr. Game & Watch is better for 1-on-1 for me, is it the same with anyone else?

I've actually found that GAW is pretty good in 4-player melee. He's an opportunist character, so he can go in for a few attacks, hang back a little, wait for some high percentages, and then just smack players off the screen.

GnW owns in 4 player melee.. he is a god

gaw can be amazing in 4 melee, you just need to be very careful with your attacks. don't fair into a group of people, probably don't even go near a group of people. taking random stupid damage is something you can't do. just stay out of reach of the group, wait for someone to break off and then go at them.

I must really disagree with this. I recently picked up G&W, and as long as you are careful with your attacks, use his edgeguarding skills (surprisingly it is very effective!) you can pull off having 2 stock in a 4 stock melee.

Dtilt can get to most anyone (Swordsmen are the ones ill exclude). Remember, you can cancel your dash with your crouch, then pop a manhole while sliding from teh cancel. Slip under them!

Yesterday I landed a 9 on 3 people at once in a 4 player melee. Only two died....I think the hammer's strength goes down a bit if it nails more than one person :X Just figured I'd say that Judgement can be interesting if you jump in with it too, since the effects stay on as long as the hammer is out.

Judgement is an awesome move, but dont expect to pull of 9's like a mad man.
I've worked it down to a small science, but its still a wrok in progress.
Just watch out GnW is the master of disaster

That's just my strategy, but sometimes I can't let it to just jump in the brawl and smack everyone :laugh:

About the Judgement thing, remember that percents matter in the progress of if that char will be KOed or not. More than one person doesnt matter since the same percent and effect is being dealt the same throughout that hitbox.

gw's fwrd smash is pretty good and dtilt, fair also good and bacon spam to annoy people

I found it slightly hard to play with 4 people. Just don't turn into a punching bag, avoid that.
