Peach in Teams

alright im pretty new to using peach and i dont use her too often in 1v1 simply cause i havent mastered her yet. ive read all the charachter guides on her in the forum so i know most of the stuff just have mastered it like i said.

but what i want to know is how should i play her in in team battles? what tactics will work? and what should i focus on? also whose best with peach or is she pretty much good with any other player in teams?

Avoid being gangbanged at All costs
Veggies are helpful if your Ally Is being gangbanged

Peach's best weapon is her 455
you can also help your ally recover with your veggies
And try to seperate your opponents with throws etc to descrease the gangbang possibilty

Use your priority. Teams are a lot more aerial based and less combo based. You'll need to stay alive so to be your partner's life tank. Get your partner to grab so you can downsmash the grabbed opponent for like, 40+ damage.

Peach works well with another Peach, Jiggs, Sheik, Fox, Marth, Ganon, Zelda, Falcon, Samus...pretty much anybody.

DoH and takun are both right basically you have to pick u and your partners matches in teams w/e character u r better against/doesn't counter you would be the one to go after. also u definitely want to get rid of yoshi's story in tourny or at least i think so.

peach will work with basically any other char. in teams i find her best with a character who has easier kills than her so u can keep one opponent busy while ur partner kills the other opponent this doesn't always work tho i like teaming with foxes personally.

Peach is the absolute best character in teams(this is my opinion just incase any of you somehow for some reason though this is a fact...). You should all accept it. She is the one character that every other character in the game would absolutly LOVE to have on their team. Teams is less about comboing and more about Peachy things(priority, recovery, etc).

As far as how to actually play with her in teams, use the DSmash. Peach is really good at controling the field(sry for the Halo strategy, it works in melee too), this is something that Marth is known for too. Her recovery is good for having 3 stock left over when your ally dies so he/she can steal one. This essentially makes your team outlast the other team. She racks up damage really well, which is a plus in teams.

If I had to say who she works best with in teams... I would say Fox. His quickness lets him get around the Peach and get easy KOs with USmash, UAir, and Foxes many other killing moves. His speed and manuverability is just a general complement to Peach's style in teams.

Oh, and btw, just because Peach pwns at Dreamland 64 doesn't mean the Fox(your ally) does too. You should keep that in mind while picking a stage.

Your main priority is to survive. Don't die early. As peach in teams, your best advantage is being a stock reserve. So play careful, and make sure you don't die early. With this in mind, do what others are saying :P

From my experiences.. just watch out for your partner. It'll really suck if you're spamming around dsmash and your partner gets thrown into it. o_O Also some people fear double Peach's in teams. So if you've got a friend who is also a good Peach player, its not a bad idea. ^^;
