Against what character(s) is g&w Good

against what character is game and watch good?
Cause i have like 4 characters wich i play with (doc, ice climbers, peach, Mr game and watch, oh yeah sometimes kirby)
But i need to know wich character i can use against certain characters.

Heavy weights and fast fallers. Marth, Link, and Falcon can give him problems though...especially the swordsmen.

gameing watch vs gameing watch is the hardest battle of your life

By hardest battle, you mean normal. It's impossible for a character to be naturally harder or easier against itself. If he has a move that wrecks you...you have it too...and it's against the same opponent.

The only way that would be a hard match up would be if the other G&W was better than you.

G&G is actually pretty good on Falco. He falls fast, so G&W can combo him quite easily.

As far as the higher tiered characters go....

OK VS:

Falcon (chainthrow, easy edgeguard, easy combos, crouch + wavedashing means you're hard to hit, G&W has almost all the priority advantages. Falcon only has the knee on G&W)

Falco (chainthrow, easy combos, but falco is really good at pressuring and G&W has a bad sheild)

Fox (chainthrow, easy combos, for some reason fox's uair misses the second hit a lot on G&W, but when it does you're dead)

Disadvantage VS:

Ganondorf (nothing special either way, but ganon has good KO moves)

Doc + Mario (hard to combo them well)

Ice climbers (dtilt disrupts grab attempts, use fair spam too, but if you do get grabbed it can hurt)

Plain Bad vs

Samus (cant combo her, and she has missile spam, hard to kill her)

Peach (can't combo her, her d smash owns your ccing, hard to kill her)

Godawful VS

Marth (hardly any way to get in range)

Sheik (cant combo her very well, she combos g&w like a madwoman)

I don't know about that list. I hate falcon because he can chain throw game and watch and is much faster which means falcon will probably get more grabs. Also, Game & Watch has an easy 100% d-tilt kill on final D against peach. Those are my thoughts, but I don't play much game & watch.

actually, g&w does really well against doc and mario, he can "crouch cancel" the dthrow, the only character able to do that, he's bad against falcon, dthrow to knee to knee to knee, from 0 percent, he's too fast and has more priority than g&w

I always hear about this "Dthrow to knee to knee to knee" but I never see it work. DI and teching exist you know.

I challenged EoF's falcon with my G&W and he said "it's your funeral!" but then I nearly 3 stocked him.

Dtilt beats any sort of grab game (unless it's set up from an earlier combo) and the forward B. Fair outranges all his air moves, except maybe a perfectly spaced nair, even then both attacks would probably hit. The only way you're gonna die is if he stomps you into a knee or something.

Edgeguarding Falcon is a joke, a chair into edgehog can kill at like 60%, not to mention dtilt, parachute, or fair depending on how he's recovering.

It's an even matchup, maybe even in favor of G&W. The knee hurts but G&W has so much on falcon, and I havent even started with the chainthrowing aspect.

Rob_GamWiino, you're right about the kill on peach, I overlooked that one, but she's still at an advantage.

we just use CF for fun, not for actural match

In my opinion.

GW does well on Marth, Mario, Ganon and Samus.
OK vs Peach and Doc
He does badly vs CF, Fox, and Falco

Just as a clarifier too, Doc's D throw pops GW up, Mario's doesnt.

Also keep in mind, EoF isn't that famous. He is known around the Wisconsin area, and not really anywhere outside the state. Some people don't even know who CJ, Thunder, and Masashi are. If they don't know people who are that good, they wouldn't know EoF

Cape, how does game and watch do well against Marth? It's the matchup I probably fear most. Marth outranges game and watch, which is one of the few things game and watch has going for him. Game and Watch is not faster than Marth; he is way lighter than Marth. They have rather equal edge guarding and recoveries. I just don't see how game and watch can land very many hits without taking some himself.
