Link still has the same fair, smash (not sure if he can do the second swing) dair, and up B. You can just make out the up B in the castle scene from far away. I hope they power him up a little, he has always been my favorite.

It's too early in development to be sure of that. To be honest, I think they used the same moves from Melee just so they could make a trailer for E3. If you paid attention to the trailer, you'd notice they re-used all of the character sounds as well.

Link will have at least one new move, or something new about him. It's too early to tell.

His dair also makes a cool "SHING" noise when it come out now! It reminds me a lot of some old sound effects like when Link had his on TV show.

I thought mario powershielded in the video and that is why Link didnt bounce with that dair. I own the old legend of zelda cartoons. Link is pretty bad***. I pray he gets less lag and a little faster.

There is a clip of Melee I saw long ago where Link does not bounce from the down aerial, so I’m not buying this one bit. The reason he bounces is because in AoL he always bounced when it landed, and you can literally keep bouncing off enemies like a pogo. He had it in SC2 as well. They’re not taking it away. At the very most they might change its properties so it only bounces when hit a certain way. It’s just a trailer, the Link we see now will not be the final version.

Well really i'd be surprised if they changed his move set. All the characters that are returning have the same move set. Same as how from ssb->melee the move sets were almost identical also. Of course the effects of the moves will be different or there wouldn'tve been any progress.

This is better suited for Confirmed Character discussion, due to its narrow nature.
