Kirby Confused or Hit Hard with Sorrow?

As we can see in the trailer when mario, pikachu, link, and kirby are all running together, the characters appear to be transformed into their newer cooler forms.

Link gets to sport his new Twilight Princess duds, mario gets more realistic suspenders, pikachu gets a color and overall polygonal change, but kirby. . . just look at what happens to kirby.

A bright light surrounds him, AND NOTICE that before this happens kirby is happy and running around very happily. When the bright light is done scannerizing him, kirby still has a bit of a grin on his face. But as the all the characters come into visual flution it seems that kirby comes to some self actualization. . . he hasn't changed one bit. IT IS AT THIS POINT IN TIME that kirby's face goes into an obvious stuper. Now it is up to us to determine kirby's feelings on not being upgraded to ultra super brawl status. Is he confused? Or is he devastated by the event that had just transpired and thus shows no physical reaction of any sort. Maybe that stuper is kirby going through the motions in his mind. A doctor phill episode I do foresee.

But not much you can do that ssbm already didnt, to a Pink sphere with legs

it would have been alright if he didn't change cause he was so awesome in melee, but now look, they made him gain weight, making his arms fatter. Well this just leads me more to believe that kirby is 100% depressed and not confused. I would be horror struck if I went to some surgeon to make me look like super cooler (as if that was possible) than I at presently did, ONLY to find out that the ******* made my legs chunky with cellulite and gave me chubby tank arms. I would be not only pissed but upon further self analysis and realizing what having this extra weight would mean, I would fall into a horrible depression. Kirby just seems to go ostraight into the depression. . . I don't think he can actually express anger =\

Yea I didnt think so for the first few tiems I watched it, I didnt thinkhe changed at all even, but its most noticable where his ears change to black.

really? i could not tell the difference...his Fair looked like it was executed alot faster though...but then it IS only a trailer...and it wont always be that way when the game is finished...

I dont think any really got more polygons (maybe a slight bump, but not much) the only real changes where textures to update them to more relevant looks (Mario is Galaxy, Zelda is TP) and the textures being better (greater texture memory) but there is no way to improve kirby without massively increasing polygons (giving him a rounder edge)

I just looked at it lol poor kirby after he got "scanned" he looked around in confusion as though to say: that's it?

Kirby has and always will be my main, regardless of his ability. Who can resist a pink puffball who runs around and says "HiiiiiiiiiIIIIIIIIIIIIIIiiiiiiiiii"?

But the way I look at it, he is confused. After that scene, Kirby is infuriated by his lack of graphical upgrade, so he goes on a rampage.

Look at the devious look on his face when he boils Mario. Little does everyone know that Mario was on the verge of death. He suffered 3rd degree burns to his whole body, which explains why he must not reveal any skin. From this day, Mario has not had a shred of uninterrupted sleep, as the nightmares of a pink ball in a chef hat haunt him.

Everyone, Kirby is a maniacal killing machine. Everytime Mario looks at his hands he thinks why, why he participated in this battle. He will never be recognized as a hero, only another character in the game.

I also noticed how he barely gets changed at all...but, the most likely reason for that is that he's interested in the new characters and the new environment. I mean, the lack of real change could attribute to that slightly, but I think the other reason is more logical.

Wouldn't you have that perterbed look on your face if people around you (and yourself) were surrounded in light and changed (...just the people around you...), and then the environment?

Man, in nearly everything kirby did in that trailer,
he got his *** kicked in some way.

He gets out-prioritorized, dodged, headbutted, slashed, smashed, burnt, you name it.
He wasn't even around when Snake appeared. Why? COS HE'D BEEN BOOTED OFF.

Well yeah I certainly noticed that he didn't get a new look or what but didn't think of him being so down about it. Nah, this could be just coincidence you know; not everything in that trailer has his reasons.

He was clearly getting his *** kicked while going Master Chef on mario. There were countless fighters attacking him from every single angle possible, hitting him all at once, making him show no movement, and they were all hitting so hard, that it was invisibly opening up a rift in space time, and hurling him back to right before he got hit, while not affecting the surrounding events.

I just hope he doesn't get nerfed as bad as he did in Melee. He was too strong in N64 but in Melee they tore him apart. I personally think that Kirby was P.O.'ed because once again he gets the short end stick.
