It seems like every character has a similar partner now. Mario already had Luigi, then Dr. Mario, now Wario, of course, we don't know if their moves will be similar at all. I personally wouldn't want Wario to have a yellow fireball attack. That's just weird. But then there's Pikachu/Pichu, Marth/Roy, C. Falcon/Ganon, Link/Y. Link, Fox/Falco, and now Kirby/Meta Knight perhaps. I think Donkey Kong/Diddy Kong would be great. Then there would, of course, be Bowser/Bowser Jr. I think that would be awesome.

But great idea with Issac. I think Felix should be in there too. And Boshi! I completely forgot about Boshi lol. He's the blue Yoshi with shades from Mario RPG 7 Stars right?

I know this is pretty off-the-wall, but I happened to think of a character that would be pretty awesome to have in the game. Ryu from Breath of Fire III. He had sword attacks, magic attacks, and powerful dragon transformations. It would be sweet to have Ryu be able to transform into his ultimate dragon form (which I can't remember the name of) as well as possibly another form or two, as ultimate moves.

Drop Banjo and Kazooie (they're Rare...i.e. Microsoft=SATAN) and I'm with you on all of these.

I think Boshi is a good candidate since you see so many guys from Mushroom Kingdom, and Yoshi, is not from there, since he have an Egg avatar (couldn't think of something else, lol) and doesn't have a counterpart, so Boshi would be a great addition ^_^

boshi doesn't seem like the kind of character that'd get his own individual moveset.
i do infact see the posibility of yoshi having an alternate costume as boshi.

birdo seems more likely to be the "egg tossing" candidate.

IMO, Captain Olimar and Louie should be in the game (You could do so many things with Pikmin). I'm also hoping for Waluigi.

ash nor gary are in a game themselves.
but red and blue resemble them.

and RED can take advantage of the supreme list of key items he acquires throughout r/b/y.

I hardcore doubt that any other 3rd party people will be in there, with the exception (if there are any) of Sonic.

And Antioch, sorry about the confusion of Gary/Ash. Never really played much of the game, and when I did, I just REALLY beat it, and put it away.

I personally think that the game has plenty from the mario genre, (wario's acceptable cause he has his own series "Warioware") But one or two more GOOD characters wouldn't bug me. Generic enemies just wouldn't cut it.

In light of Snake being added, I think it could be quite possible to see BOMBERMAN in the fray. Wasn't he originally owned by Nintendo?

I think that each series being represented should have at least two characters .

Will the single-player mode in Smash Bros. be the same as in the GameCube version?

This time around, we have a lot of time to focus on Smash Bros. so you can expect a very robust single-player game.


Unless each character's story mode ends up with a fight agaisnt Master Hand for some unknown reason.... which I highly doubt o_0~ I can still imagine MH being there as classic mode's final boss, but the adventure mode is going to be changed a lot, from what they said.
