OK! see, this new thread is to raise awareness of GOEMON in smash bros brawl. a very cool and unique character, lets see how many signitures we can get. just post your name and state to give us your support that you want geomon in the game!! ill start off... :p

Goemon is cool. So I'd like to see him in, but I always played as Dr. Yang (Ebisumaru) in the SNES game.

Goemon is pretty cool (I have "Legend of the Mystical Ninja" on my SNES) but he doesn't really even seem that special to me. Plus hes a trademark of Konami Entertainment which is not longer affiliated with Nintendo. Sorry guys, but he seems to be quite a long shot.

correct me if I'm wrong and I know you guys will, but Goemon never has been in on any other consoles other than Nintendo's so he's a must for Konami's contribution . Ah and that lovable Ebisumaru! who could forget the first scene of Goemon 64 where he's streaking in the streets of Edo but I digress.

Ganbare Goemon

He rocks

Good 1st jump (Like pichu), bad 2nd jump (Like Ganondorf, but a faster flip)
Same weight as ness, falls like fox (not falco).
Being a ninja, he runs fast and quietly, a tad slower than fox.
He can Crouch really low.
His smash/a attacks would all involve swinging the pipe
Normal B = Throw ryous(coins), like luigi's fireballs but faster and more ranged.
Aim it like a Yoshi egg.
>B: Chain Pipe (same as shiek, but more stiff chain, and pipe on the end)
It can aid recovery slightly, like Dr. Mario cape (NOT normal Mario cape)
^B: Ninja 'poof' Teleports like shiek, leaves a tree behind like a samus bomb.
Tree does 1-2% on contact, does not trap enemy.
vB: Ground pound. Like yoshi, but less range, a tad nore damaging.

Midair attacks, similar to his normal A attacks.
He'd have a japanesey themed target test.

Sasuke: Clone of Goemon, faster and lighter(same weight as pikachu,
but NOT Pichu, a tad faster than Fox), better jumps but weaker.
Throws daggers(more damaging), rather than ryous.
His recovery is his legs become a propeller and he freely flies for 1 second.
He uses a SMALL sword instead of a pipe for A moves, and extends
his hair for an Upsmash.

Both entrances are a Player change warp (hovering slightly above ground)
which spawns them, thay do a little dance, then the player change
platform disappears and then they fall onto the stage.

When sent offscreen upwards, both have their Goemon 64 fall cry.

What do yuo think.

Goemon's grab should be like link's and Samus'.

I think his downB should make him transform into his super mode thingy, he would not be able to dash in that form and he would take double dmg and have a lower jump and a faster fall but should be able to deal double dmg and knockback with his attacks and should be able to transform back by pressing downB again.

Make his nuetralB , the ryou, like luigi's with the range and stuff but also make it chargable and at max it will turn into a flaming ryou that would inflict alot of dmg and have better knockback.

His Super Item move could involve blowing the Triton shell and having Impact rape the stage with a barrage of fist attacks and nasal bullets...

as a Goemon fan it wouldn't be right to have him without the rest of the team. Especially Sasuke.

I'd love to see Goemon make it into SSBB. He really lends himself to a moveset. His special could involve Goemon Impact. And about his games, I don't think he was ever featured on another console, if it was it was under the radar. As far as I know, he's been in Ganbare Goemon (released as Legend of Mystical Ninja stateside, where they changed his name and called him Kid Ying), Ganbare Goemon 2, Ganbare Goemon 3, Ganbare Goemon 64, and Goemon's Great Adventure, which was a rehashing of Ganbare Goemon 3. I think he might of had an old school game boy game too, but I never played it if there is one.
