Okay, I posted a topic similar to this on the EC regional thread, but the WC regional thread is more relevant.

So Joanna Dark is coming to the US for FC6 and OC2, and he really needs housing in between those two tournaments and just a couple days after OC2. If ANYONE is willing to house him after FC6, that would be amazing. I've never been to any WC tournaments, but every WC player I've met has been incredibly chill, and I'm sure you guys are just as hospitable as any of the smashers that've put me up before. This is no different (JD speaks English, by the way :P ), and it would be awesome if someone could put him up in between the two tournies.

I don't think any one person HAS to put him up for the full month or so in between the two tournaments, and it would be fine I think if he could just go from house to house touring the WC. Anyway, I really hope you guys can help him out. He's a really cool guy, plus his Falco is pretty sick, so it'd probably be good training if you played with him for a few days... :laugh:

I talk like I rep Socal? I fail to see that. There is no point posting things like "wow, a month is a lot of time, I'm not going to house him". Housing JD for a weekend is fine, everything helps.

But it sure seems to be true what they say about the US Smash scene... not as friendly as the rest of the world. PandaX, you think you wouldn't have housing in Europe? You would. I just think your first 2 posts in this topic were rude(ish) and uncalled for.

I could possibly house for a couple days. Anything longer than a couple days I'd have to charge rent. There's other details too like providing rides, getting food... Plus the fact that OC2 is far off and I don't know what I'll be doing then.
