Nobody but him plays them, and I have no clue what to tell him. I don't know what he does wrong or right or anything, so go at it, if you will.

Okay, but what action should he take if he gets knocked off the edge by suprise and turns out the be the guy recovering?

hes doing fine fine for that except i think i saw that once he squall hammered right on top of marth, which wasn't smart. that mightve been an accident though

I don't feel like typing a whole lot right now, but a bit of constructive criticism that really quickly comes to mind:
Marth: Jump outta the d-throw chain, man...
IC: you should learn to wavedash out of shield more often, you're missing alot of easy smashes/grabs. Don't spam smashes so much either, you're leaving alot of lag time for the opponent to capitalize on. Where are the d-throw d-air chains on falcon? Avoid full hop f-airs, use more u-tilts, use better grab combos.

All characters focus on DIing alot more, there were too many times where you guys just went straight into a combo

I didn't watch all of the videos, but I can tell that he doesn't capitalize on the IC's desynchs. I like to use things like the desynched blizzard with nana while popo smashes for edgeguarding. Plus I never saw an iceblock chaser anywhere. The IC's need more mindgames. They are all about getting the guy to screw up so they can wavedash in for a grab or a smash (usually a downsmash).

You seem to be a really aggressive player, but for the most part defensive. Usually it seems like YOUR the one waiting for him to make a move. You're quick and strategic but his IC is also the one making the wrong moves.

Tell him that he always doesn't have to charge, he could hang back once in a while, even shoot ice more often. When someone is charging at him in the air, he could shield grab. Actually he needs to shield in general, he rarely shields. IC's upair is a really useful attack. Its strong and has good reach, since theres two of them he should take advantage of that.

ice chaser is when u desynch them and use ice block. popo should make one, then nana after a second or so. then u make popo run after the ice block, which acts as a shield in front of u so u can attack or grab the opponent (unless he jumps. then u use an ariel attack or whatever u want)

Your friend should watch that and he should check out a lot of the vids in the ice climber video compendium which is in this forum.

More desychning, and he's not using the grabs effecticly, you don't let your oppenent get away with only 20% damage, also your edge game is very weak, i must say i liked the yoshi and falcon:P
