I was thinking about this when I read a post of someone who said that Plusle&Minun would be a nice couple like the Ice Climbers. 1 leader, and if the leader dies, the other one will too. Would you like another couple in SSBB? And if so, wich couple would you like?

Captain Olimar and random Pikmin.
One of his moves would be to grab the next Pikmin in line then another Pikmin will root up from the ground to replace it.
Other than that, they wouldn't do anything though.

@Lemon Drop - Who were Lolo and Lala? It's going to bug me until I remember, and I know I've played whatever game they're from.
I wouldn't mind an IC clone (1337 Hammer Bros from Mario & Luigi 2, anyone?), but I also think Plusle and Minun would be awesome; one of my friends has them in his sig, heh. Imagine 2 Pichus at once... with his speed, desynching would open up some deadly possibilities.

How about a Dual-character that you can switch between? Like Ice Climbers meets Zelda/sheik. Like Plusle and Minun are playing, player (As Plusle) presses downB and now you play as Minun. Hows that?

I'd piss myself is Mr Shine & Mr Bright made it in. Or even more lesser known Kirby villains. I'd love to see Paint Roller and Buggzy would be well suited for fighting. *cough*
But to be on topic, yeah I was thinking about this and Olimar & Pikmin come to mind. Plusie and Minun are a good idea too. Same with Hammer Bros (I mean it wouldn't make sense if there was only ONE Hammer Bro right?).
Kudos to Ihavespaceballs for mentioning the 1337 Hamm3r Br0z. That was the most hilarious boss battle ever.

Most good ideas have been said here, Plusle and Minun, Captain Olimar, Hammer Bros., Baby Mario Bros., Twinrova.
Personally I'd rather have Sonic by himself and Diddy by himself, but maybe that's just me.
As for ideas?... Dr Mario Viruses, he needs an enemy.
Banjo Kazooie where you can switch between who is walking like in the games. I heart Banjo and Kazooie.

Hehe, the down B thing would be great. That would ne nice to make Link & Young Link in 1 character in stead of 2 diffrent ones. And Fox and Falco could also switch I guess... The Twinrova thing sounds wicked :D

Well, I did the best I could, but I couldn't break the game any worse than making Fox and Falco a simultaneously playable team would.

Btw, I just came onto something. What about a Samus switch? You play Samus with the suit on and whenever you want, you can switch to Zero Suit Samus! I think(read: THINK) that will work beter than 2 diffrent characters :)

It's 2 different charatcers. And Fox and Falco should in no way be together.
Ok, and Young Link and Link shouldn't be together either... changing between them would be stupid. Link is from Twilight Princess, there is no Young Link in TP.

Flint & Boney (Mother 3): Boney is Flint's dog. And he could send Boney to attack the opponent for a B attack.

I wasn't complaining, I was just pointing out how much rape that combo would commit.
And the ZSamus/Samus combo being like Zelda/Sheik has been brought up way too many times, and it's generally agreed that it's a bad and unlikely idea. As a branded NEWCOMER, ZSamus has a ~99% chance of being her own distinct character, with Samus returning from SSBM relatively unchanged.

Like i said before.................... Diddi and Dixie...............
They could Tag team(u can change from using diddy to dixie and viceversa in mid battle)...like in the DK country 3 game.....each of them have their own moves.. but they share the same %.
If one dies, the recover will suffer, like the IC.
If the one u are using dies, u die.

DKC3 had Dixie and Kiddy, not Diddy. You're thinking of DKC2. Which better have some stage representation in this, complete with remixed Donkey Kong/Pirate music.

Diddy and Dixie kong as one charachter is the stupidest idea ever that would mean that they couldn't use half their moves it means no guitar, bombs, cartweel, jetpack, peanut popguns or chimpy charge for Diddy and no hair spin for Dixie! Putting those two as a team is like putting Mario and Peach as an IC team not gonna happen
A better DKC IC combination would be

I agree that Diddy is cooler on his own but a Dixie Kiddy combo would be pretty cool...altho while nana and popo are alike in size and attributes dixie and kiddy (and diddy and dixie for that matter) are different in size and physical attributes (dixie has her hair for example, kiddy is big etc) which would be an interesting element to implement.
Because of that twinrova, the baby mario brothers, hammer bros, among others might be more likely and make more sense because both characters are the same size with the same basic properties. (tho twinrova does have one fire sister on ice)

Dixie and Kiddy would be better together because they are ying and yang and would be hard and fun to master
