The Prophecies came true!!

Those of us around before the announcement of Brawl know about the dreams McFox and I talked about with the Green CheepCheep and "New Huntress". As a professional mystic, I interpreted and filtered out what parts of his dreams were and weren't precognition with only a 56.5% margin of error.

And of Course, We've got our Metaknight, as predicted, and our "new huntress", ZS Samus. And I just bet the designs he saw for Waddle Dee and Blade Knight will be integrated somewhere in adventure mode.

Now my, precognative dreams have sort of slowed down recently, but I had one about the Brawl design of Fox. It seemed sort of like a compromise between Melee Fox and Assault Fox. The Head was more triangular but the head,Gear was gone, and I only saw him in a kneeling position facing me, so his apparel was too blurred by the dream effect to make out.

But I also had a dream about the character select screen. It appeared that all the characters were laid out horizontally on trophy-like platforms and you scrolled through them one at a time. I remember it highlighted Yoshi and he made a gesture, like his taunt in SSBM.

That is all I've got but if any of you out there, who happen to be the least bit psychic, [and not as a joke] get any visions from the divine plane of consciousness, post them here.

No, the forensics department has enough overconfident frauds and liars on their hands.

Besides, it not so much a gift you constantly have as a gift that's occasionally given. And it only really comes into play on your interests anyway, so it's not really squandering anything but my little life that would be squandered anyway.

I think this is a bunch of rubbish. The developers simply listened to the fanbase. A lot of people wanted Wario. We got Wario. A lot of people wanted Pit. Look! It's Pit! A lot of people wanted Metaknight. OMG He's in!

I don't believe in any "forseeing the future." The future is what you make of it and the more logical reasoning for your "predictions" is that the developers listened to the fanbase.

And by the way, Fox's new look is obvious. Why? Because the look you described has been his look since Starfox adventures. When Melee was released, the previous fox game was Star Fox 64, which used the old Fox model. And even Star Fox DS is using the newer model.

With a new fox model released and used in new games, the newer fox model is most likely going to be used. It's not a prediction. It's an educated, logical guess. It's like the old saying goes. P.S. - Want to really make me believe you can read the future of Smash Bros? How about using your "powers" to predict how the new adventure mode will play out.

Aye, you are correct,
but the developers of Brawl probably know that giving Fox his new appearance completely destroys his character from Melee. Just his disposition and attitude are entirely different. Fox in Melee was an arrogant killing machine and was popular with the teenage and tournament audiences who liked that sort of thing.

Assault fox just seems more childish, and targeted at a younger audience. Which is fine...for everything but Smash Brothers.

By the way, I had a dream this week that Sonic was in Brawl (regular Sonic).

So so far, the characters for Brawl I've seen in my dreams are

Green Cheep Cheep
Metaknight
Blade Knight
Waddle Dee
Sonic
Super Sonic
Super Shadow
New Huntress

I've also seen the character select screen Resting, and it looks nothing like what you saw:

You choose the franchise at the top, and then there's a list of characters from that franchise to choose from. They appear in four places at the bottom, like in Melee.

The only problem I have is that the virtual console controller I saw in my dream is a little bit different than what they ended up with:

The control sticks are in a different place, and the colors are off.

HOWEVER. I was correct that there will be four identically-sized face buttons, two normal control sticks (instead of having two different ones like the GCube stick and C-stick), AND the Wiimote DOES plug into the back of the controller, exactly where I thought it would:

Another important aspect to note, however, is the lack of weight in the controller. Since the main bulk of the technology is held within the Wii-mote, the actual shell is a bit on the light side. It does offer a clip on the backside, however, which we assume is used to put the Wii-mote into, which will add a good deal of needed weight to the combo.

So because of these and other factors, I'm pretty sure that I am psychic. You can look forward to seeing the above-listed characters in Brawl. And I'll be sure to relay any other messages I get about the game as soon as I get them to you. :)

My favorite Fox has always been the one from Melee, but I like the sarcastic/funny personality of the Fox on adventures. (not his physical appearance)
