Quick edgehog and edgeguard question.

I tried a search but couldn't find anything on this soo...

I'm pretty sure I've seen a video of one who was playing ice climbers and he edge guarded and edgehogged at the same time. So one of the climbers was hanging there while the other charged a smash.

Now my question is: How does one do this?

I've wavedashed back and edgehogged with popo and I can't seem to have nana do anything because Popo just lets go of the edge and jumps back on.

The video may not be the same one, but the one I've seen has popo getting up (pressing up of coarse) and when he's in that animation you can control nana to charge a smash. It fits well together though I hardly use it. Hope that helped.

If ur refering to the desynch video its not the desynch u expect it to be which is the get up from ledge and u have control of nana desynch. U basically desynch (spot dodge roll or watever) charge smash with nana and while holding the A button wave dash on the ledge wit popo and it basically will give the illusion that ur edge guarding and edge hogging at the same time.

also u can sh real quick and wl(waveland) back and popo will hold the ledge and if u do a move while goin back nana will repeat it so it will help u edgeguard while edgehogging wit popo.

wow, thank you all i didn't know that it was possible, but it sounds really effective. I will try it.

I've just had an idea, what if you let nana do a blizzard and pop edgehog hmm going to try that to, and ice block and wow i've got to try some stuff.

Man wavedashing is hard with holding the A button.
