C'mon Del, even you have to admit the top half of that "Sonic Dojo update" looks realistic. Even the caption is fairly Sakurai-esque! But yea, actually, the main thing that I noticed was that I recognized all those pictures right off the bat. lol. Sounds stupid but i'm like, from left to right, "there's no one where sonic is in the top two pics, and the bottom two, sonic replaced meta-knight and zelda." lol

That hoax wouldn't have fooled me for a minute. If you think about it, how would anyone be able to get their hands on the update, and why would they post it in this particular site?

Plus, the lighting on Sonic in the top right pic with Link doesn't match the lighting with the rest of the pic. And, like Greenmyst said, those pics are just existing pics with the original characters cut out, lol.

I mean realistic in the sense that there's not a lot of crappy outlining or pattern copying, the kind of mistakes that can easily tell someone that a picture is Photoshop'd. And I'm glad you're better, at least you didn't do what I did....I got flamed like crazy.

Tails is more to the Sonic franchise than what Toad is to the Mario franchise.

"Toads", hypothetically speaking, is a race. Toad just happens to be the most recognizeable. Yes, they've made him more generic.

Tails is an actual person, and isn't in any way generic or "cloned" like Toad is.

If you have to go with Adventure Series, I'm forced to say Space Colony Arc from SA2 Battle. Normal Track is gonna have to be Live and Learn and the alternate, I suppose it could be Sonic Drive from SonicX in Japan. Just none of that "Gotta go fast" crap.

Glad we're on the same page.
The reason Sega won't associate themselve with SatAM is because Sonic might have a rep again, so they couldn't prostitute him to every developer and their grandma's bank. I mean, without 100 lousy Sonic games a year, Sega might not make it anymore.
"What I'm Made of" Would be cool, and one of the first levels in the first two adventure games would be cool, and recognizable. But the lisecencing might be a problem, contracts are always stronger with the guys that do the main themes.

the weird thing though is that the Sonic games ARE selling fine..theyre just poor quality and Sega knows it and doesnt care because they know theyll keep making money no matter what. the only bad news for them is that people have been getting wise to the charade for a while now and they cant keep milking rotten milk from their cash cow like they had been. and so thats why Sonic is taking a break.

as for levels, im now not even sure if 3rd parties will get their own stage...im sure i thought i saw Snake had his own stage but now i think i was just seeing things...

And what would also be cool is that depending on the slots. It either heals you a liitle (Like if you got 2 rings and Sonic), heals you a lot (Jackpot in all 3), or damages you a lot (Eggman (or Dr. Robotnik if you prefer) in all 3). But mostly i'd be fulfilled if they only put Green Hill Zone in. But the casino place probably won't be used in tournaments if the hazard that heals or damages you appears. Smash Bros. to me isn't that fun without the Items.

If Sonic is in Brawl (Gosh darn i'm sick of saying "if he is"). And he has a stage, hoping that it will be the ol' Green Hill Zone. Imagine how the game would remix the familiar tune, putting it among music legends next to LoZ and Starfox. Would be an honor to Sonic's franchise everywhere. What if it kept sidescrolling to the right for players to go (Sort of like Ice climbers mountain, only Horizontal) and you go through the whole Act 1 and repeating if you have a long enough match. When time is running out the music speeds up like if you grabbed the speed shoes. It would be satisfying to any Sega fan to nail Mario on Sonic's own turf.
