New character looks?

I'm just wondering with the new games characters are in, will there looks be different. I'm not talking about a graphical update, I'm talking about Nintendo using newer character models for SSBB. My main concerns are Fox, Falco, and DK.

If Krystal ends up in this game, odds are Fox and Falco's apperance will change. Remember, in SSBM both characters had their Starfox 64 appearance except graphically updated.

Donkey Kong's appearance is also an issue. Nintendo is beginning to go with his Jungle Beat look and not Rare's.

Well I think fox and Falco look pretty slick. as with DK it's not that big of a difference. But for a solution multiple costumes could work. but I don't like fox's head. and fox is my main man

I really hope that they use the Star Fox 64 or Star Fox Adventures designs because I really hated Namco's character redesigns in Star Fox: Assault.

I always considered Melee's looks to be the "official" ones. So I would like to stick with those.
Fox looks weird in this new game. I think he looks way coller in Melee. and so does Falco in Melee.
Donkey Kong also looks better in Melee.

I really prefer the original Star Fox appearances (the old uniform is less outlandish, and in the Namco design Falco just looks... fuzzy), though I wouldn't mind if they just appeared as alternative costumes. A lot of characters could benefit from multiple wardrobes; Wario could have his classic yellow outfit, for one.

IMO the new Falco look (rocket luncher) makes him look like a girl, maybe if they change some features from that and make it look a little better and id be happy, I really do like the way he looks in Melee and updated version of that would please me.

Bleh, I don't like the Namco designs of Fox and Falco at all, though I like the direction in which they're taking Donkey Kong.

This generation has seen a few alterations in some of the characters that are going to be making an appearance SSBB, not just in looks, but in voices, such as Luigi, DK and the Starfox crew, which isn't really a problem; and personalties, which may be harder to reconcile with previous Smash's.

Captain Falcon, for example, didn't really have an established personality when SSBM came out so they were free to run wild with his character, but F-Zero GX subsequently gave him a much calmer, cooler demeanor compared to his flamboyant, off-the-wall Smash counterpart. I wonder if they'll go with this new Falcon, if they'll stick to tradition or if this is too far off topic to be of concern.

Old Fox and Flaco uniform look better. Donkey kong has simply improved, however.
New DK's darker hair is better, and the only other real difference is the less blocky limbs and features, which is simply a graphics improvement. New DK ftw.

H elooks the same in Brawl except his trousers are a little more realistic which is good in the eyes of non-nintendo fans

I actually like DK's new apperance but it's a shame his tough-guy look turned into a dumb-guy look... Nintendo should make DK just as he was in SSBM except for the taunt, that could be replaced by the taunt he had in DKC. Would make him alot more respected.

Fox isn't that bad, I like his new SFA look better than the Melee one. In Melee he looks so old... O_O; Or is it just me???

Anyways Falco just has cancer in SFA just remove the cancer and he'll do fine.

Hopefully there will be an option of alternate/unlockable costumes/looks.
That, along with different color pallettes, will offer more individuality for online matches; atleast there would be less likelyhood of looking like your opponent... That can get confusing...

I think this new look thing is pretty good. It really makes each character have their own feel, more so than the last game. Now it really seems more interesting.

I don't exactly "like" the new StarFox designs, but I think it they should be one of the characters alternative costumes so anyone who wants to play in the original suits can and the same for the crazy looking new suits.

i love the way they look in melee, they look like GUYS!!! im sorry but that new falco looks...yeah like a transvestite...IM SORRY!!! HE DOES!!! at least to me he does...i wouldnt mind the new armor or apparel, but please keep theyr heads the same...fox's new head looks wierd(it does...) and falco's head looks like a drag queen's. i would like falco's headset removed tho, but with the melee head design!

ps: i think his fur looks better in melee too!

Fox and Falco should look like they did in melee and donkey kong I wouldn't mind if they went with the new design or the old design they seem pretty much the same anyway.

Falco does look like a chick. Kind of reminds me of Goldust. (washed up wrestler, don't bother asking) I say stick with the SSBM look, although in SSBM I preferred his red gear.

DK's fur looks more realistic, I think.
