I have just started playing a pikmin 2 game and thought that Olimar or maybe Louie could be in SSBB, maybe together like ice climbers. I mean wouldn't throwing pikmin at people be fun? Just imagine all the things you could do with pikmin. :)

How about yes? and a lot of people are already in support of this, including me. Only nintendo can make a line up so diverse and interesting. Go nintendo!!!

Olimar would rock. It should be followed by 5 pikmin and depending the color is the effect they will produce (red pikmin do fire damage, purple pikmin stun the opponent for a bit, etc.).
(IN CASE YOU DONT WANT PIKMIN 2 SPOILERS, STOP READING NOW)
I would like to play specially with Olimar's boss, it could be like a Heavier Olimar. But I know that the chances are really far from possible, a shame.

I agree, he would be a difficult character to control, but a good challenge wouldn't hurt.
I think his attacks would consisit of walking pikmin.
down B, red=walking, clicgs to enemy.
forward, B blue=like items exept only to be thrown at each other.
up B, yellow=fly at an angle clinging to enemys.
forward smash= yellow pikmin with bomb rock.
up smash=throws purple pikmin.
down smash= jumps on a yellow pikmin for a non damaging fly jump. (kinda like mewtwos up b)
Super smash= rush of pikmin

I'm thinking Captain Olimar could replace Pichu as one of the most challenging characters to master in Brawl. Any thoughts on this?

Of course, the fact of your own pikmin being able to be thrown back at you would be one major pain in the ***. But it would be very well worth it once you master him.

def, i wonder if the pikim could be used as a health increase. like with the some of the items or even Ness' attack where he can make himself healthier by absorbing the attacks from other players.

His pikmin would be more effective than Peach's turnips though.
I can see why he'd be a hard character to master too. His stats would look something like this.
Speed: 3
Strength: 2
Range: 1
Jump: 4
Height: 2
Weight: 2
The range and strength is what really kills him...but like Xevelous said, he'd be a character for people who like a challenge.

I smell a move set....
Olimar
Speed: C+
Weight: D
Recovery: B+
Strength: C
Throw: A-
B: Pikmin Toss. Throw a Pikmin in a high arc, just like in the pikmin games. If it hits an enemy, then they suffer 5% damage instantly and flinches the target (No knockback). The pikmin will then latch on to the target and hit it and cause a poison-like condition like in SSBM where you take damage over time. The faster you rotate the control stick, the quicker they fall off. Yellow pikmin go slightly higher. Uses one pikmin per throw (They'll disappear regardless of wheather they hit or not).
B Up: Pikmin Pole. On ground: All the pikmin currently under Olimar's command will lift each other on top of each other's heads, with Olimar on top. The amount of time to "assemble" the pole varies by how much pikmin Olimar has with him (varies from 1-2&1/4 seconds) Olimar can then execute a double jump from the top of the pole. This will count as his third jump and he will not be able to jump (or ^B) again until he hits the ground, but he can still execute airborne attacks. If he jumps to either his left or his right, the tower of pikmin will tilt over and come crashing down on whomever might be standing underneath. 15-18% (Varies w/number of pikmin). High knockback, sends foes horizontally. If only one pikmin is under Olimar's command, then he'll lift Olimar up, but he will be unable to execute the "slam".
In air: The pikmin attampt to do the same thing as on the ground, but thet won't go as high as there's no solid ground. They'll push Olimar upwards by doing this. If there's no gound underneath, they'll fall to their dooms (poor little guys :< ) No damage in the air. Note: the pikmin need not be directly next to Olimar to help him. So long as they're picked, they'll warp to his location.
B Side: Pikmin Punt: Olimar kicks a pikmin forward and it runs around madly in the direction it's facing, screming (and one of those funny little pikmin screams ). If they hit someone, they do about 8% damage with little-medium knockback and keep going until they fall off the edge. If they it a solid wall, they bounce off and run in the other direction. If they didn't fall off the stage within 7 seconds, they disappear. Uses one pikmin, obviously.
B Down: Pikmin! : Olimar pulls a pikmin from the ground to "fuel" his attacks. He pulls them like peach would pick her turnips, only it takes a bit longer. Pikmin will follow Olimar like a "Nana". However, they will not attack unless you use a B move or certain A moves. It's easy to knock them off the stage, as their defences and weight are very low. Only Red, Blue and Yellow can be picked (I don't want to get all complicated with the other two, it's complicated enough already). Colors don't matter like in the pikmin games, though, besides yellow ones going higher for the toss attack. Olimar can have five pikmin with him at once. If none are present on stage, then olimar cannot use B moves besides this one. Also for each Pikmin he has it adds an extra 1% damage for his attacks (A, B, and Throws).
Taunt: Olimar blows his wistle real hard. Any pikmin on-stage will jump and give startled looks.

I like that moveset, but I'm a little torn between his speed. He's small, but in the game he doesn't run too fast so I'm not sure what his speed really should be.

His speed should probably be slow. Maybe a little faster then kirby

His B move would probably be like Samus's charge. The longer you charge, the stronger Pikmin he will pull up. He could have a huge army surrounding him. I could see him as being very difficult to program, though.

I hate newbs making up stats for Olimar.
I mean WTFace? Who are you to say his stats in a game that's not out, or confirmed to have him? I like move lists tho >.> LOL
I Love Olimar for Brawl. Rachael brings an odd move idea to the table, Maybe red could absorb fire, Blue water, and yellow electric energy from other's moves. That'd be neat, especially for VERY specific, VERY luck situations. ALSO you'd need luck, if it were random, although Olimar never showed such a capability... Hmm
Maybe you could pull out a red, like peach, and then with down B absorb an attack (unlike peach, you use the pikmin for a shield instead of toad) and if you get hit with a fire attack your pikmin catches on fire, and when you throw him he does five times the damage and like five times the knock back (assuming his orignal knock back and % is low)
It'd be intresting if Olimar could flip through pikmin, using smart choice to pull (such as if you pull a red chuck it right away when you're facing, say, Pickachu, because that red doesn't help you, but once you grab a yellow, THEN you hold onto it an wait)
Black could absorb ANY physical damage, and white could absorb... well Poison isn't in THIS smash game lol so IDK! >.<
I also think Olimar would be neat because if he threw a pikmin, it'd be neat if the pikmin would stick, for an amout of time dependant on %, and pummel them for a little more damage, like in the game. Also it could make them actually heavier by the (in game weight) of the pikmin themselves.
.... I LOVE OLIMAR!

Well, you could substitute "Poison" for "Dark energy" like Mewtwo and Ganondorf use. I'm not sure about this idea though. It would make certain characters highly inferior to Olimar, just by virtue of his Pikmin being immune to their attacks.

I wonder how they would make him jump. He never jumped in the game. A Jetpack maybe?
Mr. Ganondorf

i don't think if his pikmin had immunities he would be broken. After all, Ness absorbs fire, electricity, dark energy, everything and Fox and Falco reflect it and that doesn't make them broken.

I just rather see the Pikmin as items than having just one character use them. It's kinda like saying have a Pokemon trainer as a playable character and only he can use pokeballs. Think how unfair that would be. Also wouldnt Olimar have to lag a lot just to make one attack because he has to pick the Pikmin off the ground? If they are following him around couldnt they be thrown off? And then if he has the ability to pick them up from the ground again wouldn"t that make him a sitting duck, and if he's hit, it would cancel the whole process? What could Olimar do once his only "weapons" are gone, since most of his attacks consist of Pikmin? I don't think they are going to make him with a "Olimar Punch". And wound't he be nerfed since he is small? That would be really bad! He would be like the SSBB version of Pichu (without the emo).
Don't get me wrong. I like the Pikmin game. It just that Olimar doesn't seem fit for a fighter in any way. "Oh but Capt. Falcon is just a driver and never fought in his games!" Well Capt. Falcon is more fit to be a fighter. Hell, 80% of the F-Zero racer could be fighters. Goroth is a samurai, Black shadow can use magic, Pico is a fighting maniac, ect.
My opinion on Pikmin on smash is that make the Pikmin items that everyone can use and give the fighter spot to a better deserving character.
Think about it. Use most of those ideas of Pikmin altributes and everyone can use it. That would be nice.

Olimar could easilly have a move set.
B: Throw Pikmin and they leech on to people and attack them(When Kirby copies him, he could throw Pikmin dolls)
B>: Pikmin Charge forward and attack people.
B up: Jet Pack Boost
B down: Pluck pikmin (the longer you hold it, the stronger your pikmin become)

First you say he would be unfair, then he would be underpowered. hmm.
Well... I'll answer your Questions In order: Maybe a little. Yes. Peach isn't a sitting duck when she pulls Turnips. Again, Peach and Turnips. (Something about an Olimar Punch) No, he wouldn't.
Also, Olimar does a great deal of fighting in Pikmin. He controls the Pikmin to attack, and in a pinch he can punch the smaller enemies.
Kirby is very small, and Peach pulls out turnips with no troubles. Olimar's Pikmin should be like a swarm of 10-20 weak Turnips that follow him around "Nana" style, that he uses with his B moves, but are very easily KO'd. When they are gone, he has to pull out some more. Meanwhile, his A moves are left unchanged (Except maybe the Pikmin also attack, or they buffer his strength) and his B moves consume Pikmin.
He'll be as balanced as the devs can make him. They wouldn't purposely make Olimar (The HERO of a Ninty First Party game, and a Miyamoto character besides) broken OR lame.
Also, My moveset:
Concept: Olimar uses the normal arrangement of punches and kicks for his A moves, but all of his B moves require the use of his Pikmin. At the beginning of battle, he will have one of each of the three main colors of Pikmin. If Olimar and the Pikmin "desync" like Nana and Popo(By Olimar getting too far away from the Pikmin, or by missing a B move that uses Pikmin), the Pikmin will stop trying to follow Olimar, and will turn pale. If enemies come near them, they will auto-attack. If they are near an Item, the Pikmin will try to pick it up and carry it towards you. Olimar can make the Pikmin follow him again by touching them or entering "Swarm" mode. Idle Pikmin cannot be used in B moves and do not influence your A-moves.
The best strategy would involve splitting up your pikmin, so that you have an effective team around you to buffer your A moves and to have ammo for your B moves, and then have a second team of Idle Pikmin to Auto attack enemies and to "Surprise Swarm" with. The Pikmin are quite expendable on large stages, as Olimar can always pick more, but on smaller stages, he has to be more careful to keep them alive. He would have a somewhat advanced playstyle, but it wouldn't be too hard figure him out.
Neutral B: Pick Pikmin
Red(adds 1% to your A moves), Blue(Attack along with you, for 2% each. They attack every time you press A, and are more agressive in "Idle" mode.), Yellow(B moves are move effective when using Yellow Pikmin), White(Rare, When they are used in B moves, the enemy is afflicted with the "Flower" status, Like Lip's Stick.), or Purple (Stitchface-rare, adds 3% to your A moves, and will attack along with you for 4%. Will buffer B moves). Max 20 Pikmin.
(When Kirby uses this move, Yellows and Whites will serve to buffer his other B moves, even if they do not use Pikmin. If Kirby uses a B move other than "Pick" a Pikmin will die.
Down B: Swarm
Olimar will Whistle and freeze as long as the button is held. The "Bugle call" noise will begin sounding and the Pikmin will begin jumping up and down. If you move the control stick while in "Swarm" mode, the Pikmin will swarm in that direction. If they catch up to an enemy, they will begin attacking them. Reds, Blues, and Whites do 2%. Purple does 4%. Yellow does 5%. Whites "poison" enemies. Causes all "idle" Pikmin to snap back to attention.
Foreward B: Pikmin Toss
Olimar will throw a Pikmin foreward. If they hit an enemy, they will "stick" to them until they are shaken off. Same damage as the swarm move, except that Yellow does only 3%, but deals damage faster than the others. If the Pikmin misses, he will enter "idle" mode.
Up B: Olimar Toss
All of your Pikmin get undernieth Olimar and toss him. The more Pikmin, the higher Olimar will go. Purple Pikmin will act like 5 normal pikmin, Olimar-toss wise. If they are saving Olimar from falling, like they probably are, they will most likly suicide to save Oli's life. Olimar's flying body does 1% of damage per pikmin that throws him with 2% for yellows, and 5% for Purples. On the ground, the Pikmin that tossed Olimar enter their pale "Idle" mode.
Super: Super Pikmin Swarm
The three Onions fly down and start divebombing the stage with Pikmin, who will begin to attack all the enemies for their usual damage. 100 Pikmin will appear, and only the main three colors will appear. Olimar can control the Pikmin (Use them in B moves, "Swarm" them) for the duration of the super. The 100 Pikmin will stay for about 20 seconds after the Onions leave before disappearing, leaving 20 fresh Pikmin for your use.
Taunt: Olimar lays down and relaxes for a moment. Any Pikmin under his command will pick him up and carry hm around for a while.
