Dude, I would take the cape over a vacuum any day of the week, unless a vacuum would work like the cape, then it'd be cool. Or better yet, it would work like a faster version of G&W's bucket thing, and you can suck in lasers and shoot them back at people, throwing off Falco's laser spamming.

In the Ice World of Mario 3 (my favorite one), you can get a Hammer Bros suit (also my favorite) and you can throw hammers. Since Luigi's fireballs are utterly useless compared to Mario's/Doc's(pills), I think he oughta have hammers in Brawl.

I have feared Luigi appearing with a vacuum for Brawl. The current moves, pose, and pink clothes pretty much gave him a bad rep, just imagine him now as a house maid. Keep it classic, not the current characters, i never liked the idea of Luigi playing the role of a ghost buster.

you guys are like old ladys its time to change. First of all luigis fire balls are useless especially compared to Dr.Mario. His almighty misfire gets taken advantage when he lands and he has major weaknesses., but I understand what you are saying, but personally I think he needs a change.

I like Luigi the way he is. If he would get another move to replace his fireballs, it should not be the vacuum.

His almighty misfire gets taken advantage when he lands and he has major weaknesses..

After the misfire you still have a second jump unless you don't use his recover right. Therefore after a misfire you could still aerial, dodge, waveland and such. In no way does the misfire get taken advange of. And in the normal fire, you should never land on the stage anyway, you should sweetspot. If you use it right, the missle luigi is not that punishable.

brawl is the present charactors so luigi WILL have atleast 1-2 moves with his vacum

limit breaker:Sending out ghosts at your oponment.it is like mario's fire ball accept weaker and everybody who gets weak gets the immobilized effect(when your shield breaks )becuase they get scared and stuned with fear.This enables alot of combo's

Also give him back his original up B!He needs better recovery then a air dodge

yeah but they dont have to out the tornado they could take out his fireball cause its pretty useless it goes straight marios fire balls very usefull so they could just take it out....also lets say he sucks up samus's blast he shoots out a ghost that goes straight since its from the huanted mantion :ohwell:

Tornado is like, one of Luigi's awesome moves. You don't lose any height at all when you are using the tornado as a recovery. It is also good as an attack. You can move left or right pretty far and quickly. Yes, they should take out Luigi's fireballs. They totally suck***. They last like, 2 seconds and only go about 2 and a half inches far.

well i personally thinks luigi getting his vacuum in ssbb would be GREAT!. I mean luigis mansion is the only game where luigis is the MAIN character. HIS ONLY GAME~. So why not give him credit for it in ssbb. That vacuum could be like mr gw bucket like sumone said earlier ( great idea ). Suck samus's b attack and shoot it back at her. ncie and simple. But what would u remove to put in this great move. Im thinking to replace his B attack. and then moving that green fireball to a "special move" like marios special.. but green instead. Makes sense? Luigi already has a few pitifully useless moves (i.e. fireballs, dash attack, d-tilt, recovery back onto the stage if you're not that good at it), so if the vacuum does make an appearance in Brawl it better be able to do something other than suck in ranged attacks. You should be able to swing it like Marth's sword or something, then no one would mess with Luigi.

Funny, and I could agree more. I mean, Luigi's vacuum would be a but strange. Maybe one of his moves could incorporate that into it, or he could use it if he wins a match. Other than that, I would like to see some suggestions to why this would be sort of useful in a match.

Well, if G&W disappears into the nether, which it looks that way [no garauntee's though], then give Luigi his vacuum similar to that of G&W's bucket, and make it downB as well. Except the vacuum would consume from both sides and shoot out..........um.........whatever he would shoot out of his vacuum from Luigi's Mansion [never played it except for a demo in the store years ago].

Of course, this would help against projectile whores even more, although we have plenty [Cape, N. Love, Link Standing, Ness Absorb, Reflector, [Mewtwo's confusion?].

Also of course, we're getting more range with Pit's Arrows and probably some projectiles from characters we have yet to see. This applies even more if the newcomers are people like Megaman.
