Killer Instinct characters for SSBB

Not too sure if Nintendo still holds the rights to the Killer Instinct games, or if Rare does. Anyway, I was considering the possibility of some Killer Instinct characters making the cut into SSBB. For those that don't know, Killer Instinct is a series of fighting games by Nintendo/Rare in the arcades.

My picks for KI characters:
Jago
Orchid
Sabrewulf - his Up-B would be similar to DK's Whirling Kong move.
T.J. Combo - another boxer... imagine the type of fights if Little Mac also made it in.

KI is definitely owned by RARE.

Either way, I'm not sure if characters who only appeared in another fighting game would be right for smash, as much as I loved Killer Instinct (my second favorite fighting game). Killer instinct was built almost entirely on massive combos of 12+ hits, and to keep in character, you would need to get something along the same lines for smash which just doesn't fit the gameplay.

The KI characters can be changed up to fit in the SSB world. Their moves, for example, can be implemented to work in SSB. The KI air combo starter can be the characters' U-tilt. The supers can be a simplified version of the Ultra combos.

Don´t you all know how DEAD is Killer Instinct? If not, ask someone of Rareware if they are making Killer Instinct 3 (or even better, ask Uncle Tusk).

They could be changed to fit with Smash, but would we WANT them to be? I wouldn't. On my list of third party characters to grab for Brawl, anyone from Killer Instinct is ranked pretty low.

well if they do make it into the game i'd like to see orchid i used her. ;P besides all the combos would look cool.) (maybe an ultra combo be nice although i doubt it)

if they would only ad Sabrewulf I would be SOOOO happy. (never gonna hapen though)
in both KI's Sabrewulf was my main and absolutly no-one could defeat me! I just have a thing with wolves :p
if they would add him, he would be my main. nomather how low tier he would be.
