to sum it all up, they are talking about what characters and stages to keep from melee. they do not want to keep the ice climbers. they also said that hyrule castle they would like to keep and put into brawl.
they said to plan for alot of characters in brawl.
they also said that thier would be as many if not more levels in brawl than in melee.

These translations are crap. That entry in the webpage said that he/she'd love to see again the IC.

Plus Sakurai didn't say anything about it. So we don't know if they are removing them (unlikely).

That's a terrible translation, and utterly false. First, these are messages from FANS, not from Sakurai. Second, the post says the fan is concerned whether the ICs will return... meaning they WANT them to come back.

The only response from Sakurai on that page is a confirmation that we'll be using Gamecube controllers. Before it was just a hint, now he's confirmed.

Was a little worried there...

One of the most innovative and original characters being considered for the cut before any of the clones? I'd be really scared if Sakurai was thinking that. If what I read was correct, it seems that the player mentioned something about him adoring the Ice Climbers for the nostalgic sound effects and memories he had of them. Something about him loving their Jumping "Boing Boing" sound effects which was from the original game.

Please don't cut Popo and Nana :( They are the most original characters in ANY fighting game...
