Look familiar? It's Snake's box!


I've looked at other images of that level, and it doesn't appear in it normally.


So I think that this is a ingame clip of Snake using his shield (as that is what the box is rumored to be) to protect himself from Kirby while a Nintendog is blocking the screen!


Anybody else agree with me?

Look better, the box is in the background. It sjust there to make it look like Snake was spying on them through the entire trailer.

Snake's box is not in other clips of this stage, i.e. Mario's mega fireball.

That could be his sidestep dodge. Making it better than everyone else's.

Maybe Snake's box is just always in the background, making him super evasive, like a snake!

If you wacth the trailer he's actually only in that clip with the nintendog I didnt see him in any of the others clips with that course maybe its randomly there or something.

Maybe his Box is a B move that makes him "Hide" in the backround for a prescribed amount of time. We won't know until we see gameplay with him.

I'm with the above poster. And remember that when he appears, it's on that stage. The other battles without the box are on the Halberd and Castle stages.

No, there are times when he's NOT there on the angel stage.

Yes several people mentioned that.

Keep in mind that this is not the final build of the game. Maybe they took some gameplay videos, including the supers, and then added Snake's box to the level so they could program that cut-scene. Then they realized they wanted to show off Nintendog, so they went back and did a little more gameplay, forgetting to remove the box in the process.
