I live in Carson which is very close to Torrance. West Torrance? Name some nearby places so I can get an idea just exactly where.

and anti, there are no ppl there because u havent joined^_^ once u join, tell your friends and these other smashers here join then other ppl in your area will be more willing to join

Yeah. But I am busy next weekend, and i live in an apartment so my room is sorta small. We should all meet somewhere but idk where.

Hmm, yeah, tournaments are always far from me (like 30 mins driving to 2 hours). I want to host a tournament but theres no place to host it at, plus i think there wont be many people.

Well torrance citizens, lets set a time and place to get together. Not just 2 people. Everyone .It also seems we all live with our parent(hope not doh). Someone should donate there place to smash and train for the time being. So we all become better smashers. WHOS WITH ME.

I'm with you, but my room is small, and ya i live with my parents too. I'm 16. So ya, my room is small so it would be crowded here.

Well, as of now, there are some problems with that. One, I'm living in Irvine right now because I'm attending UCI. I return home to Carson every other weekend and on vacations. Since I have final exams next week, I won't be home in Carson until the week after. Two, because I'm in Irvine, I'm living in my apartment, which is kinda small. Three, my house back in Carson is small too but it ultimately will depend on how many people plan to come and whether my parents will be ok with it. Four, even if I were home right now, transportation is an issue for me because I don't have a car to drive. :( So my situation isn't really good right now but I'd definitely like to meet up with other Smashers who live close to my home because last summer I rarely got to play anyone because of my location.
If we were to have a Smash fest, I suggest it be in a public place. That can be difficult though because then the issue of costs comes to mind. But people's places are usually the most feasible option.

lol i really would donate my room for a smash fest but like if there's about 7 ppl in here then its already crowded...oh and if we bring tv's...oh boy...we wont have ANY room, lolz..
Ok, good/bad news. you already heard the bad news, room is small. good news is that my mom let me hold a smashfest here. also she told me we can smash in my sis's room and mine so i guess about 8-10 people can come here. oh and i got 1 more bad news. u guys will have to bring ur own food or money to buy food around here. there's a few restourants nearby. so as long as my mom doesnt change her mind, this will be held on sunday.
oh and also, some1 needs to bring another ssbm cd. and guys, bring ur own controller.

I think at this point you are setting yourself up for a disappointment for a tourney. If you just want to meet a few guys and hang out and play, then I think that's cool. But tournies wont work without more exposure imo.

its not a tourney, i just want to meet up with smashers and play, since mlg anaheim is coming soon and i need training. isnt a smash fest a place where some ppl come and just play smash for fun? no tourney there..right?

That's exactly what a smash fest is for. It's a chance for people to meet up, play smash, hang out, and hopefully improve their skills. As stated earlier, I won't be available until after next week.

Just get your date and time down ^_^, if its next week I could come over. I only live about 15-20 minutes from Torrance (not a lot for what I usually drive for smash).

If Tavo 7 going, then it will be worth going. Since i will get my re-match since pedro.lol. Then this means i might go this sunday and next sunday as well. Thats if Anti will host both.
