Any local tourneys soon? I want to give tourneys a try since I beat my friends a majority of the time and I consider myself a good player...

Sorry, I'm a newbie so I'm still getting used to this board and learning the rules. I also need to figure out how to look up tourneys on here, the best I know now is the calendar, regional board, and search function.

I plan on making another tournament in about a month so keep your eyes on that.

yeah? good, tourneys are a good experience, Note: Beware of TaJ, lol no one can beat that guy.

Ooo, now I'm curious :)
How good are Tucson smashers at these tourneys compared to those elite players like Captain Jack and etc. if they were ranked say... 90 out of 100?

Thanks, but I'm not that good. Forward kicks my ***, and Forward is currently ranked #25 on the power rankings and is sure to move up after we got to Anaheim and FC or MLG Chicago. :) I think Forward would give Captain Jack a good run for his money.

Thats certainly true, but now that I've been reading the boards a bit, it seems as though you don't give yourself enough credit. I imagine you'll be ranked in top 25 soon enough. Just gotta do better against players you should beat like Germ and players you should do better against like Dave.
