Stockton Tourneys?

Basically, we will organize biweekly, triweekly, or monthly tournaments depending on how many people are willing to travel to stockton to get together and do what we do best, play smash =]

Soo... ya kno.. Sign up here if you can travel to stockton and play smash! If we have a decent amount of people then we can do this. uhmm yea that it.

AND OH YEA! if held at my house, we have free water & there's a computer for anybody to use.

transportation to the LOCATION will be fairly easy [not confusing and a bus/walking distance is preferred]

the location/room of the tourneys is [comfortable/nonsweatshop/couch/noncramped area]

multiple TV's/GC's available

Maybe you should do monthlies, so that Cupertino or whoever can do monthlies as well, and you guys have it alligned so that it's as if NorCal has biweeklies, just alternating cities. Either way, I hope this goes well.

Just see when people can show up and run something then. I know the last Biweekly had 51 people, but these things start small. I'd look for something in the 20 range, maybe even 15 or 10. If more come, then great, but it's good to at least get one done and then people can talk about it.

If Teamscape goes and the Stockton crew is there, that's already pretty good and about 12 people.


Myko: Try "Public Transportation" as in BART somewhere where someone picks you up and then gives you a ride. I could give people rides from BART when in Berkeley, but not when I'm in Davis.

My house is new and it isn't on mapquest.. so yeah.. you guys cant mapquest it.

A bus? I really doubt there would be a bus from Sacramento going all the way to Stockton. But if you guys like, I can wait at the stockton mall and then I can escort you guys to my house.. about another 8-10 minute drive (assuming all you guys have cars)



There are two stockton malls. Sherwood mall and Weberstown mall.. they are both right across the street from each other. Just mapquest it.. it should be hard to miss.

The time of the tourneys depends on you (the smashers) convenience.

But for now, I just want to know who will drive to stockton for these tourneys. If I get atleast ten people then I'll start them. Also.. The location of the tourney is not set.. but is definately somewhere in stockton.

And who is in Teamscape?

Instead of asking us when and where, how about setting a date and we conform to it? Otherwise, you're going to get 20-30 different opinions. I'd like to go, but I still would perfer more information, such as what community resides in stockton, what restaurants are nearby, how it will be run, etc.

choknater and team PAUK from modesto would definitely be willing to come to stockton. we have 6 guys lol, since stockton is fairly close (half an hour or so) we should be able to get rides this time around... start during the summer or else!

ok, sorry everybody... i guess for now theres no sign of any stockton tourneys cuz over here there is basically no smash community and the gaming stores wont host any..
and the gaming cafe (cyber lounge) says they dont play gamecube games so for now there is no tourneys.. sorry guys.
