Falco Phantasm(Forward B)-Tech-Chasing Technique?

Forgive me if it's been mentioned already...

It's pretty obvious that Falco's forward B is only useful during recovering from off stage, but has anyone really tried using it as a tech-chasing move? I did it by mistake against my brother and it seems to work decently well. It is a bit situational and can force them to just tech in place rather than tech roll, making you miss and most likely get punished for it. But when it does work, it pops the opponent up into the air, and then you can get an extra hit on them. So, what are your thoughts on this?

i think its kinda risky, that move has some major lagtime

and like you said, they will learn to tech on place or something, so i wouldnt reccomend it

wouldnt they get away in time before u can hit them after being popped up in the air?

yes, but couldn't you do the same thing with a dash attack? hmmmmm? it does take some time to run over to them, but...the phantasm has a start-up time of its own, sooooo...

I use the phantasm after i knockdown an opponent. If you do it right you'll hit them right before they have time to tech.

It only works on certain %'s because of the distance you need to travel but its very useful.
