View Full Version : My "new" desynch technique

First of all, I haven't read in any guide or thread what I'm about to tell you, so excuse me if it's already out there BUT yesterday I just noticed...

When you press the A button and then C-stick it starts charging a smash, I mean press A with your right hand and then the C-stick with your left hand (I never read it before so it was kind of new for me) but the main thing or use that I gave it is when you desynch...

Start making a desynch and have nana charging a smash (F-smash, D-smash or U-smash) as you already know you have to keep A pushed so she can charged it, so when you still pushing it, with your left hand press the c-stick in any direction and now you will have popo charging a smash, by the time you start with popo nana will already or about to throw her smash, repeat again and she will start charging a new smash and popo will be about to throw his...you can go with this on and on and alternating different charged smashes.

I don't know how useful this will be, I start using it for edgeguarding and for like defending my perimeter. I want to know if someone knew about this and gave it like a good use.
What I found cool about it, it's that you still have control on both of them even when you're already desynch.
By the way, sorry if I'm reinventing the wheel here. (hate to read those posts)

Yeah this is known, but fun find anywayz. What you can also do, instead of using you lef thand to c-stick and right hand to hold a (kinda limits your options when you do this) You can actually c-stick with your right thumb and hold 'Z' with your right index finger rather than press 'A' at all. The only practical use of this is to edge guard with 2 smashes (fully charged f-smash or d-smash with Nana and a controlled second smash with Popo) or to ledge hog edge guard (charge f-smash or d-smash with Nana then wavedash to hog the ledge with Popo). Hope that gives you some ideas.
