In 2 weeks Im going to a small local tournament. They hold tourneys there once a month and I went last time but didnt enter just to check out the competition. Most of the people were n00bs but some of them were almost as advanced as I am (Im pretty good but not pro level or anything). I need tips on a couple of things.

Firstly: How do you deal with an Up B spamming link as Falco? Ive come across these n00bs before and they were very annoying to play. The link players I saw there used only 3 moves. Fsmash, Dair, and Up B. Ive never actually found a way to play these people effectively.

Second: How to deal with Fsmash spamming Marth players. The Marths there only waited for you to come near and tried to pull Ken Combos and Fsmash all the time. They dont chain throw so thats not a problem but still the Fsmash is hard to avoid.

Third: Ice Climbers I havent played a good IC player but there were people there De-psynching or whatever its called. Anything I should know about how to handle that?

Fourth: DI How do I do it? Ive read the guides and all that but no one has given me a clear and simple explaination.

Thanks for all the help in advance.

1) Just wait for him to whiff an upB, and you can just dair him. Or you can just laser camp, it works well on those types, since I doubt that they've figured out that their sheilds can block your lasers.

2) Laser is your friend. You can also spotdodge the fsmash, and run in and grab them.

3) Split up the ICs. Makes them easier to deal with. Don't get grabbed.

4) Use your control stick or c-stick to influence your direction after you get smacked. Go look at the DI guide.

SHL spam but make sure you aim it so it hits their head, not the shield. When they up-B, shield, let go of the shield and counterattack because t can't hit you during the entire attack animation.

Second: How to deal with Fsmash spamming Marth players. The Marths there only waited for you to come near and tried to pull Ken Combos and Fsmash all the time. They dont chain throw so thats not a problem but still the Fsmash is hard to avoid.
Try triangle jumping towards them so they'll whiff the fsmash. SHL spam works to get them clost to you (again).
Third: Ice Climbers I havent played a good IC player but there were people there De-psynching or whatever its called. Anything I should know about how to handle that? Their grab hurts falco because of chaingrabs and grab comboes.

Fourth: DI How do I do it? Ive read the guides and all that but no one has given me a clear and simple explaination.
Move the joystick in a direction. If you are about to die from the side, DI up and twoard the stage. If you're being comboed, DI away from them.
Thanks for all the help in advance.
Hope that helps.

All that's been said before - vs Link, laser laser laser, jump at them, they'll think you come, they upB, you use your second jump so the upB misses you and you have a free hit from above. Keep doing this until eventually they don't upB anymore. And be kind and learn these guys that they can upB out of shield :P

vs Marth, same second jump mindgame. They'll miss and you have a free hit from above. Space correctly though because if fsmash hits you out of your second jump you're screwed. And tech his fsmash at the edge.

Ice Climbers, tear them apart; to do so, if they shield alot, grab alot, if they don't, then bair alot. Focus on hitting them away from the other until you're alone long enough with either one to finish that one off.

For DI, there's a detalied DI guide (search for it), but basically, you should DI at a 90 degree angle. If a move sends you to the right alot and up a bit, di to the left and up, that way some of your rightwards movement will be converted to upwards movement. in combos, di away, and in annoying combos - there are a lot of those on falco - mix up di.
