what are the best ways to egde gaurd a peach?

it would be great if you help on a pro peach and a middle peach (not a n00b not a pro) as my opponent isnt the best peach but with a tourney coming up he could practice and get better.

Try to shoot her alot and if you can do a meteor attack on her as shes coming back she will be a goner.

just spam her with lasers when she floats and dair her when she comes attack distance to you

Laser her so she gets down to about stage level, then edgehop bair, since Peach's umbrella outprioritizes dair.

Anybody ever try a walljump dair for edgeguarding? I saw a combo vid with a guy using that technique several times and it looks pretty flashy but its difficult to do. You walljump off the ledge into a dair and then recover. I tried it a few times and could only do it by using the c-stick at the very second I walljumped, otherwise you fall too far and can't get back.

ok - this is specific for peach.

IF she is doing her umbrella, hit her with a fastfalled dair. you should both get hit, and she will get spiked, whilst you will get hit by the umbrella back up so you have a chance to recover.

another , much safer tactic is to edgehog, and then roll onto the edge as she is about to land onto the stage, so that you can get a free hit with her landing lag.

for cases where she is above you, make full use of your lasers to bring her down a bit.
