Third Tucson Tourney: 7-8-06

Final Information:
5 dollar singles tournament
No entry fee doubles tournament
1 dollar low tier tournament

Singles:
1st- 60%
2nd- 30%
3rd- 10%

Low Tier:
1st- 80%
2nd- 20%

Date: Saturday the 8th of July
Time: 1 PM
Place: Sean B's @ Casa de Colinas apartments

Are there any "responsible" people going down there? I may try for it if an upstanding, well-mannered and good-hearted group could take me. Understand that my parents will probably interview and interrogate you, if you accept, if they accept.

I ask what is meant by "before Sean leaves tucson".

How is transport--that is, how many cars, how long is the drive, do crazy things happen, etc. As mentioned, Trent, if you're takin' us, you may be in for some interrogation, so it may be undesirable. As it is, I probably won't be able to go, but on the off chance I can, I just want you to be prepared for grueling investigation.

Drive is about 2 hours from Phoenix. Also, same goes for me as Shiva

I'm moving to phoenix.

Guys this will be the last tourney in tucson that I host so I'd like to see as many people as possible.

I'd like to make this a Tournament+. That is, it's more than just a tournament, I want people to be able to hang out and have fun, food, drinks, alcoholic drinks maybe.

This tournament should be good and its having a special guest Ganon player from Idaho. Yamer's coming down, some people have already seen him from the Utah tournament. So this tournament better be as big as it can be.

I plan to get B-will back too.

Coty might not be able to help with rides though because I'm going to come down with him, as well as Jen and Yamer (Mike). If we can get Shane to come we should have more seats.

You might want to keep the drinking down until after the tourney....there will be alot and I mean A LOT of people who wont come if there is drinking during the tourney.

I think that he's referring to people not liking being around people who are drinking. That's part of the smash appeal to some people (including myself) is that its clean fun. And besides, if their IS drinking, Chucky will own you all, fear the drunken moogle!

Im going to come as for some SV smashers im inviting them to tag along. Hey Chaos I really dont see the big deal with some beer, if they dont want any they dont have to.......more for me and the other people.

I love drinking, but to many of us are underage, and so that we dont all get in trouble I suggest drinking after a great deal of people have left.

Hey shiv/kid, I'm going to go to this tournament, and my mom is giving me the ride down there and back. She is going down there to visit Tombstone or something while the tournament is happening. We can pick you guys up and take you to and from the tournament, so if your parents would like to speak with her so you guys can go, call me at (480) 464-4604.
