i don't think it's quite necessary to rehold them, but i definately think it should be taken more seriously next time...
it's the most serious mat ch of the whole tournament and everyone (the ward) was just ****ing around...
and moose was playing ****ing COD 2, condemned and DOA 4 when he should have been pratcicing or at least watching...

Im not saying that all of ward didn't take it seriously. Its just all of tech (except syke and josh who were playing the finals) were watching the crew battle and cheering but some of ward were off doing other things.

Hey guys sorry havent posted in a while james is right have been playing WOW heaps well done to tech team and yes syke you are better than me so dont even worry about coming up with a lame excuse you pay me out. I dont know about holding the crew battle again i mean i would have liked to finish off my last two lives but meh.
Scrubs man excellent falco(samus killer) as much as i hate to say it you too syke only two that could beat me on the day. Still loved beating you and gosu with pikachu and pichu boy that was a laugh.

Anyway, Syke, Umm, Vyse said that you should just put all the still images you got at SQAUT 2 together. I dunno if that's how you wanan do ti, but he said we could never fit Moose in a group picture, and we don't have yokai here.

Also, i suggest we post about SQUAT in the Aussie thread. If we tell them in the early stages, we may be albe to get more people up here. Would be awesomeness.

Ok all i need is a group photo of the ward, thats it.

SQUAT 2 was an undisputed success, however if we want SQUAT 3 to be bigger and better we need suggestions on any improvements we can make from SQUAT 2. Don't be afraid no suggestion will be scoffed at. And suggestions are not meant to belittle the organisation of SQUAT 2 i think josh and rat_venom did an excellent job organising SQUAT 2.

I'll start...

If we want to get serious and i think this will also attract more people i think we should definitely have prize money.

Also i think we could run singles a bit more fluently. Everyone was everywhere doing there own thing while the singles was taking place at SQUAT 2. I think someways to stop this happening are to

1. Have a designated time for friendlies/warm up at the start of the tourney (we did this at SQUAT 2)
2. Once the tourney starts friendlies should cease if your not playing a tourney match you shouldn't be playing at all.
3. Maybe i don't know if this is possible (i saw something similar in the FC6 vids) have the laptop with the brackets on it projected onto a wall so people can clearly see whats going on and whats coming up next alternatively we could just write it on a whiteboard...

If people insist on having friendlies while the singles are running then we should divide the room and tv's in two one half for friendlies and the other for tourney matches howver i strongly reccommend playing no friendlies at all during the singles tourney. This has another advantage everyone will be watching the tourny matches cheering etc which will produce a better atmosphere. If we run singles more fluently we will have more time for crews and other stuff.

Seeding people would also be good. We can use SQUAT 2 results as the seeds so SYKE would be No.1 seed etc. This would make the tourney a little fairer.

I can't think of anything else right now.

I think we should atleast try to get some of the other Aussies up here.

Also, I think we should change the order of the matches.

Something like, Singles, Crews, Doubles, or whatever we can come up with. I just don't believe that doubles is good to start up, then again, you may think differently, whatever.

I like doubles to start, its a good warm up for the kind of atmosphere you have in singles, without the critisism if you get creamed.

It just seems at the end of the day, we're all Smashed out.

Maybe cause we've been smashing all day? Our current set up is good gets priorities such as the doubles and singles then the fun part. Doubles before singles is better as your able to warm up and really get into it, then showing off what you can really do in singles.

I think we had the order right Doubles, Singles, Crews. Is the way to go. If we don't play friendlies during singles you won't feel as smashed out cos you are playing less matches.
