Sonic. He just trys too hard to be cool, and ends up looking like a fruitcake. Look at Link; he doesn't talk like a teen-age punk(he doesn't talk at all), and his theme music isn't anywhere near rock (ahem:SONIC). Is Link cool? Do I even need to answer that question? That could be the epitemy of retorical questions. I have yet to meet someone who doesn't think that Link is at least in the top three coolest video game characters ever. Sonic? All I know is that I'm not the only person who thinks this. Yeah, sonic was fun when I was 7 years old, but now he's kind of a bore. While I'm on the general subject of negativity, two more that i dont want to see are the main characters (whatever their names are) from Harvest Moon or Animal Crossing. I mean, what would they do? Throw ears of corn at people? Okay, I'm done. I just had to get it out of me. :)

they COULD make his voice not teenagy FOR THE LOVE OF MOOGLES is been what 15 years? he could be 20 for all we know ._. i say change the voice...altho i dont know what you ment but they COULD change the voice...ignore me if my post was wortless

edit:shadows voice is a kinda adult voice but hes 50 so that dosent count....i thinkhes 50

I get the feeling that Sonic tries to act tough from some of his recent games. But he isn't a tough character. Maybe they should aim for cuteness. Just look at those noodle arms! Anything except that dumbness that he is now. Maybe make him nice, friendly, or maybe just fun. Ya. Sonic seems like a fun character.

First off, Link IS the coolest video game character ever... that simple. 1st place, not just top 3... bout Sonic though. I'm a huge fan of Sonic and the speed his character would have just makes me drool. His fierce rivalry with the worlds most acrobatic plumber basically forces him to be in Brawl. Wether or not you like him, the blue hedgehog is gonna be blazing into the fray with some killer moves, and a very cocky fighter stance. And if you ever get angry at that, use Link and put a comp Sonic on level 1, then you'll be happy he's in Brawl.
