The Spark Moon, her vehicle
Princia Ramode
B: Magic Wish - Waves her hands and "poofs." It doesn't look like it does anything, and it lags, but if the "poof" hits an opponent, it will have a random effect. Sometimes it sticks a flower on their head, sometimes it shrinks, sometimes it just burns them. But it changes, no doubt about that, and has a few original "wishes," like locking their specials temporarily, spewing out food items around the two characters, or turning them into a "grunt" enemy character from different games temporarily. It can also backfire, because they could become Metal or Invisible, or the Wish turns into an explosion that hits Princia, so watch out for that...
Forward B: Moon Spark - Princia tosses forwards a small glimmer of magic, not unlike Din's Fire, travels straight forwards. As you hold B, it builds in size, and you can let go to have it explode in a shower of sparks, like a fireworks display. This shocks opponents it hits. Unlike Din's Fire, you can't control its path, but you can make it more powerful.
Up B: Crescent Kick - A magical, sparkling kick that forms the afterimage of a crescent moon after executing. On the ground, Princia does a high jumping kick, flipping backwards as she does it and creating a crescent moon shape. This kick will deal high damage if somebody is caught at the beginning of the strike, but at the end it will send people flying backwards over Princia's head. Used in the air, it works exactly the same way, but Princia has more control over her direction after the height of the kick (since she ends off landing before the spot she jumped, and not ahead of it or on it).
Down B: Lunar Lust - On the ground, Princia coyly fans her face, then runs forwards about the length of a Raptor Boost. If she touches anyone, she will stop and grab them, and then execute an attack. If they're a male character, she will kiss them on the forehead (or wherever), then shoot them downwards into the ground using magic from her two open palms. Female characters are attacked the same way, but do not receive the kiss (unless Nintendo's welcome to experiment... I'm doing this for them!). In the air, Princia will hold out her arms Peter Pan style and swoop downwards and them up. It works the same way, otherwise. This is actually the first "Down B" recovery, that I know of :p
Princia Ramode is one of the newer additions to the F-Zero cast. She was available in the arcade-only F-Zero AX, but unlockable in the Master (or was it Expert?) mode of GX if you were up to the challenge. Her vehicle, the Spark Moon, is a pretty cool little thing, and she's one of the better racers to come out of the arcade-only version of F-Zero.
Princia is from the planet Magica, and is, yet again, a Princess who doesn't want to obey her father and secretly races using advance technology and her own magic. In some ways, she's like "Future Zelda," but she's more than that. For some reason, I can really picture her being selected to join the cast of Brawl. She's a unique female fighter, from an underepresented, but popular, series, and she's from one of the newer, more popular games to come out FOR F-Zero. Her Arabian dress and magical nature would offer yet another opportunity for a mage to enter the fray, and a female to boot. I don't know why, but she sounds like a really good addition to me.
Oh, and she's got a thing for Samurai Goroh, apparently. What's up with that

Princia Ramode... the first AX Pilot I earned in GX... :)
At any rate, if any female F-Zero pilot gets in, it'll most likely either be her or Jody Summer - but I personally prefer Princia.
EDIT: This would have to be one of your best suggested movesets yet, FlipTroopa! I especially love the "Magic Wish" move - pure genious! I hope someone from Nintendo or the development team browse though this site just for this purpose.

Brawl NEEDS more F Zero pilots, and Princia was one of the choices I'd've wanted too, as well as Goroh, who rules.
I never unlocked her. :(
Either way, any F-Zero addition would be appreciated. Captain Falcon is good and all, but the F-Zero series definitely deserves other representatives. Out of the women characters, Princia Ramode seems like the best choice. As for the others, I wouldn't mind choices like Samurai Goroh, Pico, Mighty Gazelle, Michael Chain, Octoman, Beastman, Antonio Guster, or Black Shadow to be in the game instead.

Brawl needs more F zero Characters AND female characters, so she might have a chance

I'd rather have her than Jody Summer.

I surely like her more. I say, move aside Jody Summers!

I would only want Samauri Goroh, because he's been in more F-Zero games.

Frankly, I don't care for either Jody Summer or Princia Ramode. If I was going to go with a female F-Zero pilot for Brawl, I would choose Lily Flyer.

She's not a bad suggestion either. Plus she was in the military or something, wasn't she?

Lily has been in the military her whole life, she entered the F-Zeri Circuit to heighten her reflexes and pilot skills, I could see either her, jody, Samurai Goroh, Black Shadow, or deathborn in brawl. Smash Bros. Definatly needs more F-Zero characters, as long as they aren't falcon clones

So any other thoughts on Princia?
I've been thinking about it, and I can see them adding a few more F-Zero characters to the mix, to try and rebalance the representation from each major franchise. I might do a Daigoroh topic later, since I, for some reason, want him more, and can see him in the game more, than Samurai, his old man.

Just remember. An F-Zero character means a moveset made almost from scratch.

Nothin' wrong with that. Falcon's was pretty amazing, and you can't argue against that

As was the case with Fox, Sheik, and several other characters who were confined to a vehicle, didn't get enough screen time, etc. I personally prefer the "from scratch" characters, C. Falcon and Sheik being my mains - they really allow the team to utilize their creativity, which up till now has paid off very well.

To some degree, all characters fall into this realm though. I mean, yeah... there's bases there for characters like Mario. He had a cape, he could punch blocks when he jumped, and do a spin jump, and hurl fireballs. But it took some thought to go "oh, wait.. .that weird punchy jump... let's make that an uppercut that combos and spews coins!" I'd say the easiest characters to make movesest for would've been like Kirby, Samus, Link, any of the Pokemon, etc. They have so much at their disposal.
And even though Zelda and Ness have moves from their respective games, it took some thought to go "woah, let's have her use the three spells from OoT" or "let's give him Paula's spells, and have them work in this way." There's also some hardcore brainstorming for these things.
But, again... Falcon. What an amazing moveset.

I was referring more to the characters developed completely from the ground up (which removes Sheik, since she did use a smoke bomb), but yeah - all the characters fall atleast somewhat in that category.
I still find it strange the gave Ness a bunch of Paula's moves...

No one loves Dr Stewart..... :(
Oh well, I truly approve of pretty much any F-Zero racer and Princia is definately up there.

Cause Stewart sucks. =D
I'd love to see Princia, but Goroh's much more likely. If the series gets more than one addition, then Princia's fair game. Nice moveset, Flip.

Yeah - Samurai Goroh is long overdue (one of the three infamous SSBM no-shows that were explicitly featured in the intro, the other two being Ridley and Wolf O'Donnell - D@MN YOU NINTENDO!). However, since the release of F-Zero GX, Deathborn's been vying with him for my #1 spot, followed by Princia, then Pico, then one of the Arrows. I pretty sure that there will be ATLEAST one more character from the series being added to the SSBB roster - but as the saying goes: "The only thing that is certain is that nothing is certain."

I was wondering who that red-haired girl in your Top 10 banner was. Not bad but I don't think her chances are as high as Jody.
Lord_Deathborne
07-18-2006, 07:01 PM
Jody chances are higher, but she's kind of the mediocre lead female character type IMO. As for Princia, she's quite unique character-wise. Anyone whos' got a crush on someone like Goroh is OK in my book...

Well at least it's better than having a clone like Samurai Goroh's son. I'm ok with Princia.
Lord_Deathborne
07-18-2006, 07:47 PM
Yeah - that's the ONLY one on FlipTroopa's banner I don't get - other than him being a personal fave. All the others are very good and more importantly plausible suggestions. To tell the truth, I'd really like Pico, Leon Powlaski, Grit, and Juno and/or Vela from JFG, but they stand no chance in HELL at getting in... Oh well, you can't win 'em all...

The reasoning behind Daigoroh is, basically, I just had that same click in my mind I got for Princia. I was like "why have Samurai, when they can have another kid character who's his son?" It may not be as recognizble a character, but Daigoroh has the "kickass kid" factor going for him. I always envisioned Smash having these levels of playable characters. You've got the major heroes, the damsels, the sidekicks, blah blah.. and then the kids. I always felt that the game could use more young characters, and I dunno. Daigoroh just looked and sounded cool. I'm not as ga-ga about him as I am the other 10, but I really can see him in the game.

I prefer Jody mainly because, Jody was the first Fzero chracter I heard of (aside from Captain Falcon and Samurai Goroh) and she is just cool.
Princia or Lily can get in after Goroh and Jody.

I should have figured... Good reasoning, but Dai Goroh shouldn't get in before his dad...

Being the a** that I am. I cheated to get all 41 ( From 00-40) characters and their Master Class movies. Daigoroh is my favorite movie because they made it look like he was better than his father at swordsplay. I honestly want Lily more than Princia since she was in the military since birth. But overall, I would like to see Pico or Deathborn.

But overall, I would like to see Pico or Deathborn.I got all mine the HARD way (and again, I emphasize that it was FRIGGIN' HARD!!!), all of them with the exception of the Pink Spider - but then again I had no motivation for "earning" THAT... being the gayest car with stupidest racers requiring you to beat the hardest chapter in story mode on very hard - I was lucky to beat it on hard! Still haven't gotten the AX Cup either... And it's been so long since I played the game... I wish I had time to play games again... :( Adult life sucks (not the adult part, just the life part)...

Being an adult is scary. I have money for games, but no time to play them :urg:
And glad to hear you guys all love the moveset! ^_^ If I had my scanner up, I'd try and work on something to the effect of "lol princia in all her poses showing off moves" for you guys. Hell, I'd do it for ALL my topics. Actually... I am pretty bored. Think I can finagle a way to draw it all quick like, and jimmy rig a scanner? Or picture with my cell phone?... !!!! There's an idea!

here's an idea you could send your money to me and because I'm in Australia it will be doubly money :P and because I'm 13 I will have time to spend it!
Those are really nice pictures, it makes her moveset come alive.
