For everyone else: The first post has been updated with more info about pools and how they will work. I'll post the update here:

Pools!

There will be 8 pools with about 4/5 people in each pool. Everyone in any pool will play everyone else in a best of 3 match and the results will be written down. The 2 players who did best in their pool will advance into a 16 man Double Elimination bracket. In the unlikely event of a draw the two tying players will play another best of 3 set to decide who advances.

Regarding seeds:

To keep the tourney fair and to stop pools of death there will be a seed list in use. 16 players attending the tourney will be seeded in two groups: Top Seed and High Seed. Each pool will contain one of each seed.

I'd like to take the time to say that in pools i will allow my opponent to choose both all the levels in the set and also the character i will be playing. I hope i will be a top seed as i fully intend to get top of my pool, with these stimulations it would be difficult if i wasn't a top. Thank you.

we're london smash people. it sounds dumb but we dont really have mains cos we're always changing our minds who to use. i personally think theres so much more space for improvement in my game. i dabble with fox mostly.

I dont see myself winning or anything, but my objective is to win at least one match :P im so nervous already..

lol very similr to our crew, except upon realising the short amount of time we had till AR we choose a char n stuk wit it.

the downside to this was we didnt have much exp playin other chars...iv jus got bak from BB's house and his peach(as i was playin a peach 4 the first time) raped,molestered and mutiliated me...i eventually got a grasp and managed to do alroght but it reminded me tht i gotta long way to go...i really need to b able to shffl on command consistently and other things

havent ever been to a gaming tournament before either (except some pro evo tournie my bro ran once in which i got knocked out at the semis ( :mad: ) )

GGGGAAARRRRHHHH stop it, i still have nightmares...the full stock...jus gone...and i wasnt exatly like i cant DI...remember to smash u did on me at over 100% i can survive those...but tht cheap *** CG aaarrrrggghhh n tht ****ing f-throw...makes my head hurt :(

I still reckon you should do doubles first before singles,even if you have the opportunity to hire out the venue on the second day.Since Mafia arent entering crews you dont need to make much space for it.

We aint entering, you may aswell play as part of sdb.

reasons are:

1 craig aint coming
2 we aint seen you in about 3 months
3 me and zeppo both aint bothered about crews and wont play without my bro, we would if he was going to show
4 allan hasn't improved much if at all.

Haha I'd probably say I play most like Zeppo.Seriously though,try not to think too much of what Falcon player you play like and just play naturally and develop your own style.

Now nothing can stop this from happening except some random act of God (If you believe in him, I don't)

The venue owner was really easy going and is noty too bothered if we go over either way. The venue will be unlocked from about 9:45 (When we will set up) and will be locked again at about 7:30 so we have more than enough time. I want doubles to start at 11:00 at the very latest. As for the rest of it, we'll see on the day.

P.S. Kone: Will all of Battalion + tv's still be able to get here?

BB: the GMC will need to be on a bus at 18:55 back to taunton on saturday night.

do you think singles and crews'll be done in time?

Doubtful since doubles are being placed first on the saturday lineup. Depends on how fast everything goes. Also on if we can con you a ride back to the bus station. Why can the GMC not stay the night and get a bus back next day?

Right - were leaving at 18:55, or if we can somehow get to preston for 22:40, then we can leave around then - which is plenty of time for everything. If we could either enlist the aid of a couple people to drive us there, or we just simply look at catching a train - from what BB said it looks like we can just blag it en-masse, as it's late, and it's the next stop - but if we do get caught we'll prolly have the money to pay for tickets there and then. We'll just say we were in a hurry to catch another bus. Soyeah - hopefully everything should work out?

As for Doug, I'll find out like a few days before the tournament, he is back on the weekend but wether he comes or not is a completely different thing entirely.
