Yeah I think there are a few stages on there that need taken off.but BloodBowler can decide that nearer to the date I think.I have to wonder why Big Blue was put on there in the first place,though,I think its a truly awful stage that cant be played at tournament level.

Oh and by the way,Pictish Freak is scottish lol thats why Ryan mentioned it.

If you want to condemn Big Blue for it's style there a lot of other levels thar are similar yet playable. Poke Floats and Rainbow Ride are just two. It's in there as a counter-stage more than anything. Ifg you can use it well, power to you, not many people can. I saw no real reason to ban it.

I feel some of the stages want erasing but they're not despite being worse (In my opinion) than Big Blue. Jungle Japes with the fish and Kongo 64 with the glitchy edges. But they're not. Why? Variety. More options and more varied gameplay. If you're not happy, agree with your opponent on a stage or choose to go random.

I thought Pictish freak was Dutch. My bad. Updating list.

EDIT: I also like the music for Big Blue. Well the original music, not that alternate crap.

cause it is cool, indeed, i do like the idea of hitting the road and popping up behind your opponent, im awesome like that.

and personally, i really like japes. no particular reason.

and heres a thought, how long do you think it would take to drive from Yeovil (somerset), to lancaster? cause hiring a mini bus would be much cheaper than a train, then plane, then bus to you. but probably much slower.

Good idea, however Big Blue is VERY RARELY allowed in tournaments. Same with Jungle Japes. As for the driving distance and time, use the RAC route planner on the front page and estimate it based on the total distance, Failing that, make the trip beforehand in a car and see how long it takes.

Jungle japes is allowed in most tourneys actually and big blue is usually banned from tourney host preferance rather than it being unfair.

It'll take about 5 - 6hrs to drive upto BBs place. However, not sure if it makes much sense. Can anyone of you drive? and how long u been driving? as if its not for 3 yrs/21 ull have a problem renting a van and if you can itll cost quite a whack.

In the end of the day you can get anywhere by busing it to london (funfarre) then another funfare from london to BBs town. Hiring anything would never be cheaper than that.

Fuurrthermore. I'm meditating upon holding a pre-lancaster smashfest of sorts down south where I live, I warn you however, I am miiiles down south in Yeovil, but it would be an all night affair, possibly spanning a couple days if people fancy camping, but yeah, I seriously just want to get some games down with people other than my crew/Dan before I go into another actual tournament, all of us down here could use the practice - as were kinda playing in a vaccume. Anybody interested, it's gonna be on the 25th, in Yeovil, don't worry about where to go once you get there, you can see the place from the bus station.

Bare in mind - this isn't a definite, this is just to see who'se actualy willing to make the trek, and I wouldent be surprized if people called me a lunatic, however - if one does not ask, one does not get.

Yus o.o Orr, I could possibllyy prod my girlfriends parents and ask if they would allow a bunch of random guys to sleep in their livingroom. Though I highly doubt the practicality of that. Honestly, there are very few places to actualy Sleep around here. I probably wouldent sleep for the entire affair anyway. But if anybody did want to - Camping is the easiest option. Theres also a hotel or two a few hundred feet up the road, and various people whom I could ask about people possibly staying round - it's just that camping is the only definite thing I can think of at the moment. Though I shall ask people tomorrow ^^
