too many nub crews imo. sdb can only be round for like max 2 crew matches, we will have a 3.5 hrs car journey to do after singles and crews. AND i really want them to be vs mafia and gmc.

I agree wholeheartedly. Let them contend for something else, honestly, crews arent charging are they? Why don't we just have the **** crew matches and to hell with the other crews? If they can prove themselves worth it, sort something out as and when, but provisionaly, lets just do SDB/GMC/Mafia, and the others can come afterwards - assuming theres time. Honestly, I'm not interested in any particular tournament standing for crews, I just wanna have a god**** crew battle.

Same. Crews to me are all about rivalry. I aint got squat all to prove to these new guys nor do I actually view them as a crew. A crew to myself are a group of individuals that have been around a while and proved themselves to the community to be decent players and committed to the community.

Also, new players only learn when playing friendlies against older players for a long period of time OR by talking with older players. A four stock match against a player that'll most likely be much better than them is a waste of time. Crews are exciting as matches are generally close and come down to the wire.

Having crews off varying skill is plain silly as one match takes too long.

This thing should not be permitted to fall to page two. More to the point. Seeing as the idea of just doing crews how we want is on the table. Perhaps later, if we have time, do you fancy doing an SDB V GMC thing with as much of our crews as we can fit in? Like 8-10 aside. I really don't know if there will be time at all, but if we could possibly fit it in, it would be ****ing epic.

Kone again: The crew thing is probably right. The top 3 would most likely maul all but each other. I'll have to seperate them. Nobody says they can't play each other later on.

Hey guys ! ok so i havnt been using smashboards alot, but i thought youd all like to hear from me, ive been uni, drinking, playins smash and chatting up girls with such lines as 'Did it hurt when you fell from heaven? Because ivvvee got an erection' and such

also, all this talk of recording matches, i would like to ask about a VGA box, it goes into your cube, the cables to the tv, other ones to a pc monitor, and anybody with a g-card like mine could capture 60HZ perfectly, with no lag,

just a thought, maybe im wrong, and they are costly (around 30 pounds) but please, let me know if this is a good idea or not, i may invest in one

For people travelling to this tournament :

Advance purchase train tickets go on sale about 8 weeks before their journeys. These tickets are MUCH cheaper than tickets you purchase on the day or a week beforehand. Theres only a certain amount of advance purchase tickets on any train, so I urge everyone travelling by train NOT to leave it last minute. You can save ****loads of pennies!

Also, if your travelling in a group of 3,4 or 10 (10 and more) then when you purchase your ticket tell the advisor that your wanting to book group tickets. Group tickets are well ****ing cheap compared to buying your tickets seperately. The only downfall is that you've all got to be on the train journey to make them valid so make sure that who your going with aren't going to flake!

And yes I have worked for national rail lol ^_^

Actualy, I think I can probably pull up another 3 odd semi-decent players. I'll get a proper number next chance I get, I wanna do the biggest crew battle we can possibly manage, will make awesome video ^^

Well 8 v 8 seems fine although make sure that your 8 are all a decent level man or it becomes pointless as in matches that arent exciting. Id like to have a crew match thats all the same level of play or there abouts. Time is also a major player, as 8 v 8 may take a while. Personally i, id like the idea of 6 v 6 ?!
