I agree with the manly comment.

Captain Falcon now officially sucks. The only part that was good was when the original jumped out and punched skin-tite man in the face, it was so fake and overdone, I loved it. It was really corny though.

ANyways, I was gonna suggest rick wheeler for ssbb. However, they should honor the old Captain Falcon and keep him in rather than rick's CF. After all, as the incredibly bad subtitles put it, "He saved the Space"

Nintendo creates their characters based on their games not based on their anime. Sakurai already said their will be no anime/comic characters. C. Falcon isn't going to change. He is my 3rd best.

like kenny said, the anime is non-cannon. its not gonna happen in the actual games. there is only one captain falocon in the games and his name is douglas J. falcon. no bart or rick crap. if we were to follow anime/cartoons based on games:
protoman would be evil
a bunch of kirby baguys would be good guys
bowser would be called king koopa. ( and he is only called "koopa" in japan)
and thats all I could think.

and yea lawl the subtitles were soo bad and it did remind me of the "all your base are belong to us" thing from counterstrike.. and also "he set us up the bomb"

sorry. now the F-zero GP legend game was a game based off the tv show. so that game belongs to the anime canon. not the real game storyline canon. like I said, in the REAL captain falcon is named Douglas J. falcon. not bart or rick.

For the record, "All Your Base Are Belong To Us" is a refrence to Zero Wing, an old shooter game which had a 2-person english localization team... and neither of them spoke English.

The Zero Wing thing is an old joke, the Starcraft part of it was simply an easter egg, like certain trophies in SSBM.

ya it is originally from zerowing and its a cheat in starcraft but like alot of the audio stuff from unreal tornament, people took that quote and started useing it on their counterstrike servers so it would show up on the screen when your team loses..(and its also in that surf map from when u land in the cage as saberhof previously mentioned)

just to set the record straight so all the angry walking encyclopedias who post and tell me that im only allowed to relate that quote to one certain memory will stfu

Now I'm starting to understand. The storyline of the F-ZERO anime takes place in 2050 - 2201. In the SNES F-ZERO, it takes place in the 26TH Century. And in the F-ZERO X and GX/AX series, they take place in 2560.
umm, no. the anime isn't part of the game AT ALL. the GP series is an entirely different universe. if we followed the whole "the anime is part of the game" thing:
a bunch of the eveil kirby enemies would be good, dedede would have a snail, and meta knight would have nothing against kirby.
giovanni would still be a part of team rocket
protoman would be evil
sonic the hedgehog & friends would live with a boy named chris, there would be a bunch of extra robots and e-101 gamma would have a high pitched voice and the tornado would be a white plane with arms
and a bunch of other stuff, as I said before

hhaha, its q funny, but did anyone notice in te end dof the movie, that the outfit that Rick wore was too big for him! normally, in SSBM, CF has so many muscles on his chest, but that rick person was as flat as a washboard!!!!

If the anime is not canon, then why do ya'll believe Sonic's favorite food is chili dogs? That's based on the shows and comics of AoStH and SatAM, but not the games themselves. Yugi Naka, the creator of Sonic, said that Sonic's favorite food is McDonald's hamburgers (which is why SEGA and McDonald's are partners), according to one of Yugi Naka's interviews, but many of you would disagree with that, because McDonald's serves nasty food, and chili dogs are more original.

But, F-Zero GP Legend and it's Japan-only sequel are adaptations of the animated series, and are probably not considered a part of the main line.
