SSBB character hints in SSBM?

Have you guys looked through your trophies on SSBM, look at the discription of the Pit trophy, it's a major hint, at the end of the description it says "will pit ever fight again?" I looked through some other ones but didn't really find anything else, if you guys find something let me know.

They probabbly intended on making a 3rd Smash Bros game, but they never planned on Sakurai being the one to make it. So even if it could of been a hint, there are no games that can provide a hint now. It is all in Sakurai's mind on who will be in the next game. Sorry. Just wait for an update in Smash Dojo (if they ever have another one...).

That's more a referring to the fact that people have wanted another Kid Icarus game for a very long time. Retrospection does not = hints for the future.

I wasn't sure if it was necessarily a hint or not but ya that makes more sense

It was not a hint. HAL Labs didn't even know if they'd be working on a sequel to Melee (and they're not). The line just refers to the fact that Kid Icarus hasn't been in a game since his original game on the NES.
