I don't know how but the cardboard box will be his Final Smash.
Everyone on the stage will be confused and get insane while jumping off the stage......or he just appears behind them and brakes their Necks :psycho:

when i think of snake being in brawl i think of jill valentine being in marvel vs capcom. slightly out of their element. Jill got some kinda wacky moves so i think they might do the same with snake. people want snake to be all bad *** but ... I dont think that will be the case.

I think they will definitely make Snakes moveset a bit more on the wacky side then on the super bad*ss, serious side. I wouldn't doubt it if one of Snake's B moves was the carboard box.
I would rather see it be snake's shield, though.

I also never thought about this until now, but does anyone think Sakurai or Nintendo will make Snake and the 3rd party chars. all be really flawed? Like, they could just not give them a third jump even even if they have small regular jumps? That would suck if they sorta rigged it against any 3rd parties.

That really made me laugh.


As an avid Snake fan, here's what I think Snake's "moves" will be like:

A:Punch
-> A: Kick or Somersault Tackle
^ A: Backflip Kick
v A: Downward Kick

B: Grenade
-> B: Rocket Launcher or Nikita
V B: Claymore Mine
^ B: Upward Dive

Final Smash: Metal Gear REX comes along and blasts the stage with missiles. And for those who are wondering, yes, Metal Gear REX does have the design shape of a giant metal dinosaur, and it does scream like the ones from Jurrasic Park.

Taunt: I would have hoped he took a puff of a cigar (or even cigarrete), but I doubt Nintendo will want to condone smoking. Ruthlessly slaughtering everybody around you with swords and explosives, yes, but probably not smoking.
So now I'm thinking it could be something like...
- an exclamation mark appearing over his head with that really abrupt trumpet noise
- him pulling a snake out of his pocket and taking a bite (I know..)


Also, I do think the cardboard box might be his shield, but I don't think that he'll be blasting himself with a remote controlled bomb (Nikita), because doing that in the game REALLY hurts him, often even killing him (yeah I've done it). Ness' little purple thing is just a different story.

Yeah I kinda imagine that was a grenade, in the last scne were wario, snake, zamus and MK are fighting in the second trailer u can clearly see he throw something upwards, and hit wario engulfing him in flames so yeah...

The ONLY question I cant figure out is his Final smash...

snake riding/summoning metal gear as his final smash doesn't make sence story wise.

metal gear are alwais his enemies...as if you say Link final smash would be him summoning Ganon with the triforce.. it dosen't make sensce ...

I'd go with down b, or maybe one of the other b moves. It would be real slow for a smash, and seems like more of a special attack.

Well, I agree with muesli's opinion. Snake really shouldn't be added to Brawl. He has nothing to do with smash.

It doesnt matter what we think about snake, hes in, if he doesnt fit tell me:

How does a pink puffball
a humanoid fox
a sword wielding elf
a plumber
a giant turtle with spikes
a giant ape
an eletric rat
a buffed race car driver
a bounty hunter with a suit made by alien technology
a 2-d character

and all of those fit? how does an elite army-type guy with grenades not fit?

I can't think of anything for his recovery move besides something like Captain Falcon's (Sticking C4 on someone and then jumping away and detonating). They could Twin Snakes-ify him and add some really ridiculous moves though.

Snake is gonna be very well done, and i think he does fit the part. this isnt one type of grapic style in this game, it have many and whos to say that Cap Falcon wont get a make over in a more realistic fashion. the only thing that i can think of is a good up B, but i only own two metal gear solid games so im not sure on what he could use. also we cant forget that konami is work with them(well atleast on the snake stage) so we'll get something cool. finaly i think that snake even from as little we have seen of him will be atleast high tier.

That looks like an aerial A move to me. It doesn't even make him jump enough to be an Up B move.
