WSVG Intel Summer Championship in Texas... any smashers?

Although this event is primarily computer games and a few specific XBox games, I was wondering if there were going to be any other smashers around? I didn't bring my cube since I actually live in PA, but will anyone else be around playing smash here?

Well it's obvious that there is no event, but last year at quakecon (same hotel, different event, still no smash tournament) I met a few smashers and played some against them... I was just wondering if anyone on these forums is going, not saying you should go out of your way to rush to this place.

Generally, you're probably not going to see to many smashers at a non-smash event, and even then, they may be focusing more on the computer games then smash...but who knows. I'd go if I had the time/money.

I'd love to! but my cube is in the hands of the parents. I'll be there throughout the event, seeing as I live 15 min from THE GAYLORD TEXAN (lol....I'm going to play games in the gaylord texan, oh how that sounds wrong)


please bring your cube/game, I'll bring my own controler. I'll even bring a TV. but I cant bring a cube & copy of smash, that's for sure.

Sorry man, when I even first posted this thread I was already in Texas with my cube in Pennsylvania. Hopefully we can find someone else who has a cube around and get some games on though. I'm in the BYOC alpha section near the TV's for the bring your own xbox - Alpha row 6... Cubic computer box, big blue cloth mousepad.
