off the ledge b-air

how do you do jump off the ledge with a back air and be able to grab the ledge right afterwards? Falco just seems to fall. I can do it with a firebird to recover but I've seen bombsoldier do it somehow without the double jump or a firebird. It kinda looks like it's just a single but i don't get how that's possible. He does it on ken in the JGT finals match two. Any tips?

press away from the edge and double jump immediatly and do a B-air as fast as possible.
(i think this is what you mean what bombsoldier does, he uses the double jump too but it seems like he doesnt)

it's impossible to do it without jumping from the ledge...
as said, you just have to do the bair as soon as possible to regarb the ledge after bair... a little bit of practice makes perfect :D:D:D

It's cooler-looking when you instant-walljump into a bair.

You just need to do it faster, no secrets there.

if you want to be flashy, pick fox and do every kill with running shine to JC'd usmash, always worth it :D or JC'd grab to uair.. :D

bomb soldier usually just ledge hops to bair. its much more effective this way

just press away from the ledge and immediately press b+up
that simple.. just practise
